Silver Cloud Inn-Tacoma Waterfront

Aside from the fact that the entire staff is amazing..the room was amazing, the beds have been super comfortable every time we have stayed. Nothing.

Excellent stay! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, the location was perfect, and the breakfast was exceptional—it exceeded my expectations. We also loved the fresh-baked cookies! I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be recommending it to my family and friends. No comment. Everything was GREAT!

Clean, staff very nice. Hourly night train activity. That was not mentioned during sign in our even during online sign up. Earplugs need to be made available until train track repair is finished. Not happy about my stay because I needed a good night sleep. Never got it because of trait horn and others train noise.

The people who workes there were kind, funny, welcoming, great! Bed was ultra-soft...both of us woke up with terrible back aches. They never mentioned there is a major train route right across the street...VERY loud, very frequent trains running all day and part of the night and early kn the morning...terrible noise. Feel they need to let people know...expensive room for having to deal with that! Also major construction going on right on the road in front of hotel...hard to get in and out...never mentioned.

Fabulous view. Located right on the water and walking path. Breakfast was nice. Staff was great. Proximity to railroad crossing where the warning would sound, then the horn would blare, several times during the night.

Only nice thing was the location Staff was rude, thermostat wouldn’t adjust, windows don’t open, tv only has like 5 channels, mini fridge was too small for my takeout container, train was loud and kept me up all night, breakfast wasn’t available until after my checkout even though is was visibly available staff wouldn’t let me grab anything.

Clean. Friendly staff A little far from the location we expected

The location is excellent. Ruston Way runs along the waterfront offering a long walk or run with many good restaurants. The hotel's breakfast was very good and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was traveling solo and felt very comfortable. The temperature in the room was a little cool. The lighting in the bathroom was a little weak.

Better than normal breakfast, comfortable room, fun to be right on the waterfront They wanted to charge extra for parking, but there was free available city parking right in front of hotel which we used instead. Also there is a train that runs all night that goes right by it, as it would any location right on the waterfront.

Amazing views from the room, staff was very helpful and friendly. I know the train sounding the horn is temporary but that would be the only complaint.

1. very hard to get in and out because of road traffic -- I know that isn't under your control, but just had to say. 2. No morning decaf in the breakfast area. My husband cannot drink the caffeinated stuff and it seems like a small pot for thoses like him should be available instead of his having to make it in the Keurig upstairs and bring it down with him.
