La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Texas City I 45

It was okay, the young lady at the counter was in her cellphone the whole time that she was checking us in, didn't say anything about anything, I gets that is okay.

Breakfast was just ok. Room smelled musty and old. Pull out couch was rusty and barley could hold 200 lbs.

Very nice! Place was clean, well maintained with updated and pleasant decor. Room was very nice, beds were comfy. Dehumidifiers were in the room which seemed to be a good call being near the Gulf Coast. We didn’t use pool but peaked in. Pool looked very nice and well maintained. Left too early for breakfast but was told they have full breakfast from 7-10 AM. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are so humid & the smell is horrible & hard to get rid of. Breakfast was very bare. The beds are very firm, so they left me aching in the morning. I am a big La Quinta fan, except for this location. I did like that they have indoor & outdoor pools. That's about it.

The carpet was wet making the whole room feel humid, there were humidifier in the room where you can tell the room was wet making it feel uncomfortable

Basically an old best western or motel 6 which they remodeled. It was clean and worth the money but staff could have better communication skills when it comes to answering questions. Also a lady was mopping the front foyer at 1030am (peak check out time) a disaster waiting to happen

Staff was great

Staff very friendly and helpful, quick to respond when asked for more towels. Hotel is in process of being remodeled. Clean rooms but noticeably had recently been flooded or major water damage to carpet. Humidifier and air freshener in room did help with slight odor. This was never mentioned to front desk but in hindsight should have asked for another room. Breakfast was average. Would consider booking again.

Rooms were clean and they offered a pretty good breakfast.

This place is a dump. I wouldn’t let my dog stay in it staff very unfriendly AC not working room smelled like mold. Just a horrible experience could not even stay had to book somewhere else the same night.

Good clean property. Alls well except some of the help doesn’t speak English. Hmmmm.

Lot of construction, try to check in a hr early to attend a funeral they charge me $25.00, I am a repeat customer.

I had a negative experience when I arrived at the hotel. My room key card did not work initially, and I had to go back downstairs to have it reactivated. The staff did not acknowledge the inconvenience or provide any information about breakfast timing. Overall, the poor customer service left me feeling unwelcome and I would not recommend this hotel.(Business trip only stayed one night )
