Hot Springs Hotel and Spa

Hot Springs Hotel in Thermopolis, WY is conveniently located inside the Hot Springs State Park which has no entry fee. This is an older property that has been well maintained. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They had some nice extra touches such as flavored water at the check-in area and cookies later in the day. There were four mints in the room and two bottles of water. The room clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. We used and enjoyed the hot spring fed hot tub on the property. The swimming pool was already drained as it was late Sept. There is also a public hot spring pool in the park that was available. The parking was convenient to our 2nd floor room. The breakfast is cooked on site and was very good. There is also a restaurant on the property. As stated in the property information, there is no elevator, but we were able to park near our 2nd floor room and there was a staircase right inside the door we entered. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

It is well located on the river adjacent to the Hot Springs but the property 60+ years old, worn and dated . The staff were nice and the included breakfast was good.

This place advertises as a very nice hotel and it really could use an update all around. It just feels old and dirty. The breakfast was subpar, so we skipped it. The coffee was great, and so was the staff.

This location is what we wanted, but the hotel is very old and that is reflected in the quality of the rooms and the hotel in general. The ac did not work properly. The staff was friendly and helpful, but I will not stay there again.

Overall Location is pleasant in the Park with many amenities for families, and sidewalks to just enjoy walking the dog.

It was a great place. Everything was perfect.

Quaint little hotel. No elevator, but not an issue, very clear about this on their site. Every staff member was SO incredibly friendly! We only stayed one night, but it did its job. A bit out dated, but would definitely stay again.

I would like for the carpet to be shampooed or steam cleaned but it was a nice place, simple breakfast but good enough to eat before heading away.

The hotel has an onsite mineral hot tub which does not have a time limit, unlike the state park bath house.

The room was clean. The hot tub mineral springs were wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

When you pull up you think this is going to be a good place. It just needs to be remodeled desperately. It’s in a good location near the hot springs.
