Holiday Inn Express Thomasville by IHG

Upon my arrival, the first room I was assigned was absolutely unacceptable. The bathroom had not been cleaned and was extremely filthy. I returned to the front desk, where Tracy was exceptionally helpful. She promptly reassigned me to another room and, knowing I have limited mobility, thoughtfully placed me on the first floor. I truly appreciated her professionalism, kindness, and willingness to assist. Unfortunately, the second room presented another issue it did not have a shower curtain. Once again, Tracy maintained her pleasant attitude and accommodated me without hesitation. Before officially accepting the room, I inspected it myself. While it was much cleaner and did have a shower curtain, I discovered a large stain on the bed sheets. Because it was late in the evening, I simply asked Tracy for a clean set of sheets and changed them myself. She graciously offered to do it for me, but I declined because she had already gone above and beyond throughout the evening. My frustration is with the overall condition and housekeeping standards of the hotel. Considering this property is one of the better options in the area, I was shocked and deeply disappointed by the lack of cleanliness and quality control. A guest should not have to inspect multiple rooms or replace their own bedding to feel comfortable staying overnight. The condition of the rooms fell well below what is acceptable.

Clean

No cable or anything working on the TV for most of our 2 night stay. Called and asked for more towels as they only left us 1, they advise us that they didn’t have any more towels until the next day. Ice machine was down too.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Best I've stayed at in the area.

The bathroom was not cleaned very well. The a/c was not working in the hallways so it was very hot getting to/from the room to the lobby.

Room was fine, AC/Heat worked well. The breakfast was not so good. Eggs were tasteless and the sausage

The microwave didn’t work. The small refrigerator was iced up and would not cool. There were no cups in the room. Had to ask for everything. A new hotel that was lacking in services. I never would recommend this hotel. In fact I doubt I will ever stay at a Holiday Inn Express again.

For some reason I had to pay 2$, the hotel clerk couldn’t explain it. She said it happened to someone else the previous day as well. Couldn’t be over ride. It was paid, will never book through Expedia again!

the rooms, elevators where definitely not the cleanest.

The breakfast was great and very appreciated! The room was very spacious and bed was comfortable!
