We did not stay in the hotel. Our rooms were cancelled and the manager, Jose treated us disrespectfully. He was rude and even called the police on us We arrived at the hotel expecting to check in, only to be told by the front desk associate, Elena, that our reservation had been canceled because we did not check in before 7:00 p.m. This was the first time we had heard of such a policy. I explained that I had never received a phone call or email notifying me that my reservation would be canceled if I arrived later. Elena stated that someone should have contacted me, but no one ever did. I asked to speak with a manager because I had arrived with my children and, at that point, we had nowhere else to go. The manager, Jose, spoke to me over the phone, and the conversation was one of the most disrespectful customer service experiences I have ever had. Instead of trying to understand the situation or offer any assistance, Jose rudely told me it was "not his fault I couldn't read" and that I didn't know the hotel's check-in rules. I calmly asked him to show some empathy, explaining that I was traveling with my children and had no idea my reservation would be canceled. His response was that he "didn't care," that I could "do whatever I wanted," and that he would call the police to have me removed from the hotel. As this was happening, a parking attendant who was inside the lobby had his walkie-talkie go off loudly. I could hear Jose instructing him to remove me from the property and call the police. At no point was I disruptive or threatening—I was simply trying to understand why my reservation had been canceled without notice and whether there was any way to resolve the situation. Jose followed through and called the police. Officers arrived at the hotel, but I chose to leave with my children before the situation escalated any further. It was heartbreaking that, instead of attempting to help a family who had arrived expecting to check in, management's first response was to involve law enforcement. Jose's behavior was completely unprofessional.

There are some places to eat close to the hotel, so you can walk to get food. The beds are confortable. The room was clean. Restaurant is not the best. We asked for some dishes and they served something different without telling you. And the food was not fresh.
