    This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences we've had. We booked it simply as a place to shower and sleep, so our expectations were not high, but even those basic expectations were not met. The hallways had a foul smell, the outside of the property was dirty, and the entire hotel looked neglected and run-down. When we got to our room, it was obvious that cleanliness was not a priority. The walls were dirty, and the balcony was covered in spider webs and bugs that looked like they had been there for months. It was absolutely disgusting. The condition of the hotel made us so uncomfortable that we decided to cut our trip short. Instead of staying for our prepaid second night, we packed up and drove home because we didn't want to spend another night there. Save yourself the disappointment and book somewhere else.

    My toilet didn’t flush the whole time I was there, there was a bug crawling on my pillow and daughter, and there was hair all over the shower. The staff was told about all of this and their response was is nothing can be done. I will never stay here again.

    Everything was great, staff very helpful. There can be some maintenance done with the doors and a couple of other things but nothing to crazy. I would definitely book here again !

    The rooms were clean and it definitely was OK. It’s just like the property outside is very dirty garbage everywhere we stayed in a non-smoking room but the whole place smell like smoke. There were people there that kept putting rocks in the doors to leave them open so they could get back in when we had a key to get into the door so I did not like that about the whole stay

    Doesn’t have filtered drinking water or breakfast, offers only coffee. good pool & decent hotel but the price was not worth the quality of the hotel you get.

    Room was clean. Was not a handy cap room as we asked for, Bed was very worn out. we had know phone and I asked for one and it never came. AC did not work the first night. TV was small and very few channels. never had house keeping had to get our own towels.

    This hotel was dirty, old, unmaintained and smelled horrible! Uncomfortable beds, dirty linens, the list goes on and on. Way too over priced for such a low quality place!

    If you stay on the road side of hotel, you will hear nothing but traffic! Day & night, but night is worse. Room description Room 1- mini frig sounded like Darth Vader Room 2- had Red Bull thrown on floor & door, the residue was visually there. Room 3- one bed was horrible but room was just ok. Only positive was no road noise. This hotel has the name Wyndham on it, they should be embarrassed! Will never stay here again. Staff I have to say are very friendly.

    As someone who runs a fine hotel right here in Newport, RI, I rarely leave negative reviews, but I have never felt so uncomfortable and overwhelmed during a stay. Front Desk Service: The front desk agent was passive-aggressive. While she did eventually waive a fee, her attitude was entirely unprofessional. In this industry, you honor the guest's request gracefully and flag it for management—you don't make the guest feel like a burden. Room Cleanliness & Maintenance: The cleanliness was deeply concerning. The floors were so dirty that our feet were black just from walking on them; I actually had to go out and buy my own cleaning supplies to wash the floor myself. Furthermore, the toilet screws are dangerously loose, the fridge needs a new rubber seal, and the microwave is fitted with completely incorrect, mismatched parts. Bedding & Amenities: Management needs to immediately dispose of the ripped, worn-out bedding. Additionally, the online advertising is highly deceiving regarding the "heated pool"—the water itself was visibly dirty and freezing cold, the room heat was cranked up high, and there were absolutely no towels available. Because of the poor upkeep, I felt forced to document and photograph everything upon arrival just to ensure my kids and I wouldn't be held accountable for pre-existing damage. We were out all day and are checking out tomorrow, but Wyndham corporate needs to look at this

    The location Getting out of your car in the parking lot that has a couple homeless living in there by the looks of it. Random garbage and broken down vehicle just chilling in the parking lot and trailer. The stair way up to the rooms smelled like urine. The room was non smoking but smelled of cigarettes. The beam above one of the beds looked like it was growing mildew or black mold on it.

    The parts of the property I saw were clean but needed some updates and maintenance. The pool was great but side walls of room and doors need replacement rusty and old. In our room the fridge and microwave need to be replaced. Our room was clean but needs paint and some updates.

    The shower was pretty good and the beds were comfortable. The room was not very homey and it needs some work. The door would not shut unless you pushed it hard and the paint was chipping. The sliding doors to outside are not in working order.
