Super 8 by Wyndham Topeka at Forbes Landing

When traveling with a pet, pet room smelt like urine and found stains on furniture from I cleaned urine marks. Was almost not able to sleep due to the smell

Checked in late but the front desk lady was nice. Room was sooooo hot inside since the AC was off. Never fully got cold despite hours of running so sleeping was miserable. Room smelled like mold. Didn't even trust breakfast based on Room. You not recommend.

Great clean hotel with nice staff.

If you just need a place to stop for the night this might work but I wouldn't want much more than that. Staff was very polite but the room was just ok at best. Bed was very uncomfortable, the chair in the corner was not something you'd probably want to use. The arm of the green chair looked pretty brown, not sure if it was really dirty or just really old and worn out.

It’s good for the price. It’s not really close to anything but if you are just passing through it is perfect

Plenty of parking. Night staff were very friendly. Room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. Good shower pressure and plenty of hot water. Would stay there again. Breakfast was continental- no frills.

Hotel is way out by itself. Remodeled but only thing I would suggest is newer rugs in room.

Hotel is very dated in style but very clean. Staff were on the surly side.

Vicktoria & Melissa ware exceptionally helpful from info about the storm coming through with Victoria to Melissa for helping us because we had to leave early in the morning.

The breakfast wasn't quite what I expected. It could have had a little better selection of foods.

Our room wasn't cleaned during our 3 day stay, so we had to ask for new towels each day

Location No stairs for general access and pool hours were limited

Clean, friendly, allowed dogs We could get out of hotel but always had to enter at front entrance, wasn't that big of deal but took dog out and couldn't enter from side entrance was a slight inconvenience due to weather conditions.

One night stay on road trip. Hotel is old and in interesting neigh b orhood . Price was good for one night stop would not stay for extended time as seemed far away from places visitors would travel to. Full parking lot was nearly empty next morning so I assume that is the norm
