Great view of the mountains!

Everything else was fine.

We booked this hotel on Hotels.com and requested two rooms with two queen size beds. We got there after midnight. They were really nice and put us into two rooms with king size beds they said they did not understand and don’t get any warning about what we requested from Hotels.com. The lady was not able to exchange rooms in the middle of the night and this made us very groggy. We had to get up in three hours to take an excursion. The next day they were very apologetic the manager was moved us to another two rooms.. They were very nice, but it took us a long time and we had another excursion to go to and to change rooms for a three day night was a pain in the rear. Beautiful location mostly helpful people. They actually really catered to the princess cruise line guest.

If you just need a place to sleep and shower, then this place is okay. The property is very dated, old rooms, old bedding, old furniture, old bathrooms.....you get the trend. We stayed in July 2026 and the property does not have AC but they do have screens on the windows, ceiling fans, and they provide an additional fan to circulate air in the room. The room stayed comfortable at night. We only stayed 1 night.

The location of this hotel is the best part about it. They have a beautiful deck off the main lodge with a great view of the mountains of Denali National Park. The first night we were there, we saw a great view of Mt. Denali. However, they play elevator type music day and night constantly on that patio, as well as at pretty much every other public gathering spot on the property. We found that aspect of the stay extremely annoying. What is wrong with silence, especially when outside, and especially at night???!!! There are some walking trails on the property and a cute tree house. The rooms are fine, nothing special, and there are no microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms. Be aware that this is a property of the Princess Cruise Lines (hence the name), so there are constantly buses from the cruises dropping off and picking up people. So there are times when the place is very crowded. There are some talks and live music, a good coffee shop, and some over-priced restaurants. It's a decent place, but we wouldn't stay here again.

However, the guest service could be better. The rooms don’t have a kettle or microwave, and despite requesting a glass of hot water multiple times during my stay, I was repeatedly sent to different restaurants and never received it. Disappointing for such a simple request.

Very disappointing how spread out property is and how hot when it hits 70! No ac. They did have fan to use and ceiling fan, but it wasn’t enough and hot in room. The view is amazing and we enjoyed the deck. Dinner places closed early and we ate late at the bar. Good service and good food and drinks. I think some friendly staff, help with things at check in and ac would really improve the experience. It is mainly for princess cruise people and we weren’t on a cruise, just traveling through Alaska for first time.

Amazing place

Amazing view (when weather allows), parking is limited and results in a long walk to move luggage into rooms. Staff was excellent, 20,320 Restaurant was excellent for breakfast. Overall campus was wonderful.

In room phone wouldn’t call the front desk for us or they just took it off the hook. We actually tried to call because the guests above us were allowing their children to run around their room for 30 minutes.. The walls and ceiling is so flimsy it sounded like a small preschool. The next night it was the guests next door trying to open the adjoining door numerous times. Horrible experience on what I thought was going to be amazing. I guess the Princess standard no longer exists.
-
Very laid back vibe for a Princess.hotel. we appreciate that, because they are super busy taking care of the mant Cruise customers.
-
Didn't realize it was 1 hour 45 min from the national park. Didn't have a refrigerator or microwave in the room.

Great.

The problem is no AC

The room was nice and facility was in a good location with perspective of an excellent view of Denali (Mt McKinley). We liked the location. Some visitors may not. The drive to Denali Park entrance is over 1.5 hours. That is a rather far drive for some. However, just outside the park, it is rather commercialized and there is not a good view of Denali.

Extremely thin walls and ceilings. Could hear neighbors conversations and people walking around above. Alarm clock in room was left set for 6 am. Loud neighbors kept us up past midnight, alarm.clock woke us up at 6 am. Upstairs pacers kept up till they left at 7:30. Housekeeping staff knocks on door at 9 am to see when we were checking out. Checkout time is 11. Never stay here if you want a good night sleep

The staff and food and beds and trails were all amazing…..almost as incredible as the views of the mountains!!!
-
Unfortunately food wasn’t worth the price and we had poor service at 20,320 restaurant. No other off property restaurants options nearby. No AC in the rooms, so our first night was very hot even with the wind open (no breeze when you need the curtain closed to block the midnight sun)

We liked our stay and the location. There were lots of things to do. The parking was challenging in regards to where our room was but this property is built to service cruise lines. The views from the property were beautiful!
