very friendly staff
-
Staff was not pleasant at times very grumpy.
-
Was a beautiful place & very comfortable bed. Restaurants in walking distance & good food/service. We don’t drink coffee they have no tea options in the room. The cleaning staff knocked at 10 am wanting to clean our room he said so ready for next guests. I told him our checkout is 11 am. We left at 10:30.

Spacious rooms. Bathrooms lacked some amenities such as body lotion.
-
My only complaint was we were on the lower floor by the entrance, so we heard lots of suitcases being rolled up and down the hall at early mornings and evenings. It would probably help if they had carpet in the small reception areas rather than tile. i understand there isn’t much they can do about that dealing with bus loads of people. The staff was great to move our room to the same building our friends were staying at.
-
Super clean place to stay with nice staff. Service at 20320 Alaskan grill was terrible and food was okay. No air conditioning in our room but we did have a window that opened and ceiling fan. Note that property is 1 mile from Denali state park but 2 hour drive from Denali National Park! Something we didn’t realize until after we booked.

1-Debris/candy wrappers on the floor as we came in 2-Damaged drywall in bathroom, poor/rundown appeal 3-Bonk bend squeezed in so tight a spot my kid could not use/climb up ladder 4-Had to tell son to try futon instead 5-No hot water 6-Attempts to repair close to midnight, while family in bed already 7-Huge intrusion/trespass of family privacy 8-No other room option offered 9-No attempt to resolve/make up for worst night/room we've had 10-Refusal to offer even partial credit for service that was very expensive, yet did not deliver Amazing location, SADLY AWEFUL MEMORY –– UNACCEPTABLE! CAREFUL!

Great view of the mountain!!
-
Beautiful setting. Quiet, comfortable room. Lots of activities such as hunts for s’mores. Restaurant food quality was mediocre.
-
The lodge was a good place to stay but both cabins we were assigned to did not have an elevator. When you are traveling for a few weeks, your luggage tends to be very heavy. With no elevator, and no offer for staff assistance, it was quite a haul up the stairs. Bathrooms had not been updated, though the room was clean. Additionally, there was no refrigerator in the room.
-
Excellent location to get to Denali National Park!
-
Everything was great. Normal room. Price was lower than expected in Alaska, since everything is expensive. Only wish they had breakfast included.
-
This place was great! The first night we ate outside while enjoying the beautiful view. We plan to come back next year and check out the treehouse and hopefully see the mountain if it isn’t raining.
-
A dated property with no notable improvements after more than 15 years when I first stayed here. Still no AC, no refrigerator and no microwave.
-
I really liked the lodge but i didn’t like the food at the bar inside the lodge. Mac and cheese for cvs bought and food was not fresh at all. It will be really awesome if they can have more options for the food.

We loved our stay. The lodge and grounds are beautiful and we had an amazing view of Denali. They have fun outdoor area that has cornhole, popcorn, s’mores. It is primarily cruisers, but our family with 13 year old twins enjoyed our stay on the way to Denali very much.
-
Absolutely beautiful, staff with some of the best we’ve had on our whole trip. Front desk people were more than willing to help with anything we needed.
-
Clean room and friendly staff. Gorgeous view of Mt McKinley!
-
As long as you arrive expecting a wilderness lodge rather than a luxury hotel, you’ll likely have a great experience. The property is well maintained, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food we had was very good. The highlight, however, was the breathtaking view of Denali, it was absolutely unbelievable
