Great place to stay! Grounds are kept beautifully. Scenery is gorgeous. Rooms clean, staff helpful and food was good.

Delightful stay at Tanque Verde Ranch as always. The grounds are well kept and the views of the desert are just stunning. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. I love the bed in room 82, best sleep ever. My husband and I have stayed in that room during several of our visits to Tucson and it is my favorite. We had breakfast in the dining room which is very nice and had the buffet. The food was good, no complaints. While we did not have time to enjoy the many activities they offer I’m sure they would be a lot of fun.

Very interesting and enjoyable desert front hotel property. It is truly unique in its ability to give you a ranch like feel while staying there. Amenities are great, especially the pool. If you want to see cool Sonoran desert wildlife while staying in a nice hotel room, this is the place for you. Also you get to interact with the horses while staying there even if you dont book a ride, they have a ton of them!

Ps… we love animals. The cutest Nubs the cat and a reclusive old ranch dog… along with hummingbirds. We saw roadrunners, javelinas, cute little quails, rabbits and those beautiful horses!! Gentleman Jack was the most handsome I rode, but Big Tuna was a looker too. Hitchhiker I have to say was such a good ride… perfectly trained. They all were so good. Thanks again!

Room overpriced for the size!

My family loved Tanque Verde ranch! There were so many activities and my younger girls (aged 10) loved the kids program. My 12 year old son found it to be a little too “kiddie” for his taste, felt like it was geared towards young elementary aged kids. The food was great, our room was great, staff were nice, horses were amazing! Wish the food prices and menu hadn’t been changed for spring break, made our meal charges way higher for the week. My family did enjoy mountain biking but it seemed that inexperienced kids would sign up for the intermediate biking and then bring everyone down to a beginner speed or level, so that was a bummer for our experienced riders. We loved the Saloon, and honestly any chance we could get to be in the stables for rides. Cowboy cookout and line dancing was so fun! Already rebooked!
