The front desk staff was just as friendly as our next-door neighbors here at home in Virginia! So friendly, informative and professional. The breakfast was good however; it could have been better. Sausage links or even Kielbasa would be a nice break from sausage patties and bacon. I understand as a FREE breakfast you can't expect an entire menu but adding breakfast potatoes or hash browns could be a nice substitute in place of meat. In closing, I enjoyed the TV and having a small fridge in the room but your fresh baked cookies are a great welcome back incentive (everyday)! Finally, the best part of the stay was your staff! The mattress I slept on had grooves or gullies in it? It was the mattress closet to the window in room 233. In all my years while serving on navy ships I never slept on a more uncomfortable mattress! One solution would be to flip the mattress onto its other side. Also, we left trash in the room in the small trash can. I thought my wife took it to empty and she thought i took it, so sorry!

Room and hotel itself was very clean and modern and you could tell it had been updated. To our surprise there was not just a small fridge and a microwave in our room but it had a kitchenette with one burner, sink, plates and pots & pans. Even the dish soap and dish towel was provided. My daughter said the sofa bed was actually comfortable to sleep on!! There were full size shampoo, conditioner and lotion available, which smelled very nice. We all know that's usually not the case with hotel amenities... We've traveled all over the world and have stayed in many different hotels so it was a little strange to have to sign a waiver for not smoking (we don't smoke) and for not setting off the fire alarm!! And the lady at check-in was a little condescending about it. She talked to us as if we were teenagers that were in the habit of setting off fire alarms. Odd, not a good first impression and definitely a first for us! We didn't try the breakfast so can't say much about that, but my husband was happy to find some coffee available at check-in.

We stayed here on our way to Florida, because we did last year. I was very unimpressed when we opened the couch for my son to sleep on and there was a piece of bacon, a straw wrapper and what looked like a pee stain and piece of mouse poop.
