Motel 6 Ukiah, CA - North

Staff was wonderful. The humans are trying, but more than 1/2 the buildings are red-tagged. The Front desk room is nice, the room we stayed in had possibly a new floor and bed, but when we left, I saw the stairs going above the room was red-tagged. At some point they may have put in a new building to expand, maybe it was the recent earthquake, but I will not stay there again. Just not safe.

I completely understand that I booked a Motel 6 room. I was not expecting bells and whistles, but a lot of Motel 6 properties have been refurbished in the last few years and are pretty comfortable. This one felt downright dangerous. We lasted about 15 minutes before repacking are car and finding another hotel that was unfortunately nearly twice the price since it was last minute on a holiday weekend. Definitely not recommended.

The price. The room had an odor, like stale cigarette smoke. The bed was lumpy.

This motel is a pit. You should have better standards as a large corporation. Motel 6 used to known as a low cost but clean well kept option. Not anymore I guess Maybe you should send someone from upper management and see for yourself

This location should be condemned. It’s falling apart. Some of our group had rooms with no hot water. Our room had so much hot water the toilet was flushing with hot water. Bathroom was leaking and moldy. I didn’t see cockroaches inside but there were so many outside. Save your money and go camping instead.

Roaches and bed sucked

The chemical smell from the floor washing was toxic and left me with a migraine. The floor washing not rinsed well after cleaning. My socks stuck to it as in walked around. Will never book here again

Room was absolutely terrible! Everything seemed to be falling apart, nothing worked. There was damage all around the room. Beds at stains all over them and the bathtub had pink slimy mold in it. No way in hell I was putting my kids in the shower under those conditions. Never will I ever stay there again.

The staff was great! Tanya at the front desk does the work of three with a smile and great attitude. Check in was a breeze. The room was clean. The pool was refreshing!! The housekeeping staff was great, too.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and that was the best part about this property. Obviously it's not the staff's fault but the property is in disrepair. My towel rack was hanging off the wall in the bathroom, there was cracked tile with messy foam and putty, and there was no hot water in my shower. The pool was well maintained and the kids had a lot of fun because it only got to 5 ft so it was pretty safe. No bugs or anything like that and the beds were very comfortable and clean. The rooms are just funky and a lot of wear and tear with all kinds of little repairs that are needed. TVs worked fine. Mini fridge is a nice addition! It's what I expected for the price.

Convenient No breakfast. Very noisy bathroom fan. Broken switchplate. Tv not working.
