Motel 6 Vallejo, CA – Napa Valley

We needed a room to sleep after seeing a SF Giants game on Saturday night that was close to the City. The room was clean and comfortable. I had a hot bath before bed. The WiFi wasn’t reliable with my iPad which I need to sleep but worked ok with my phone hotspot.

Well I’d say location was so so but we could totally do better by maybe providing better coffee but other than that it was great for our purpose being there with kids and 2 elderlies who had a hard time climbing stairs the 2 flights was totally doable. Something should be done with the cats though unless they’re chasing rats. Noticed lots of cats in SF businesses I wonder if thats a thing. Fear of getting broken into was mainly why we didn’t go anywhere near bigger cities but this hotel is close to grocery outlet so that’s a plus. A few minutes to SF was even better. Staff was super nice and the rooms were clean except for the floors since we like to take our shoes off. Nothing a handful of Clorox wipes can’t fix of course. It was nice overall and a memorable place for us. Thank you!

good rooms great for a work trip

The room and property looked clean. but i got bed bug bites.

Horrible place to stay super filthy. I attempted to get a refund despite having pictures of the proof they denied my refund. Do not stay here it is not sanitary and the sheets were super dirty.

On the 30th I made a reservation. And they still haven't returned my deposit. They say 1 to 3 business days. And it's not true

The rooms were large, clean, and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. I will definitely be back.

Clean room, excellent check in assistance, good price, but limited parking and a super noisy location on a busy street.

Front desk was checking a person in and having issues with the form of payment, there was a line of 4 or 5 other people waiting to check in. They take a $150 deposit for a $90 room 🙄 (cause that makes sense…) and it takes 4-5 business days to credit back to your account. Worst hotel stay of 2026 this far. I’d pay 3x as much to stay somewhere instead of there again. Do better…..

Unhappy about having to pay deposit. Unexpected. These properties need more transparency in this issue. Booking website should also carry this disclosure.

It’s a good time for me there

Looks sketchy but nothing happened during my stay(I was nervous because I drive a really nice car and have expensive items that I travel with including my dog). Staff was great, Room was clean but did have Nats flying around

Clean and cozy rooms, friendly staff, and a convenient location. Everything was comfortable.

The difference we saw was the change in the neighborhood…and not for the better. In fact, they’d installed big metal fencing between the back parking lot and the rooms, so you couldn’t get directly to the room…unless someone had left the fence gate ajar. The neighborhood has gotten very sketchy. We did have an issue with a car pulling into the parking lot at 1:30 am and playing EXTREMELY LOUD music. But, after I called the office about it, a guard with a flashlight and a very big dog made the rounds and the car left! The office was very quick to respond. It’s a shame this area has gotten worse, because the hotel was right next door to a grocery store - which was great for picking up snacks and things. I think I’d have felt better if we’d have parked in an inside space, rather than around the back, next to our room.
