Nothing special about the AmericInn

We stayed in Valley City for four days, and our hotel stay was wonderful. Our room was clean and spacious, and as I stayed with my two kids and we went swimming every night...we constantly were bugging staff for more towels and everyone was so kind and accommodating! Special shout out to Cleo in the breakfast room; she was extremely kind and helpful, we looked forward to chatting with her every morning and she kept that place so clean and all the food was tasty and nothing ever ran out.

Everything was great.

We arrived and no one at the desk. A note with “Will be back soon “ was there. Waited 10 minutes and I finally called the front desk while standing at the front desk! Boy answered saying I’ll be back soon. Finally he showed up. No apologies.

my room was fine but the bed was not made up. i had already unpacked in the other room before i discovered the bed. all the linens were there but had not been used. A long day foy me, late check in and too tired to ask for a room change. so i put a sheet on thr bed added a pillow case and laid down. i reported it to the front desk the next morning and she did not seem concerned or anything

The Bridges resturant was very good.

Paid $200/night, was overpriced.

This was a very clean property. The room was clean, tub looked a little worn but overall pretty clean which is super important to me. The bed was hard. That is really my only complaint. I would love to make this my hotel in Valley City but not sure I can take the bed. If a solid mattress is what you like this is perfect for you.

Pullout bed had crumbs in it and toilet was backed up but front desk sent someone up immediately and fixed both issues.

Breakfast was wonderful. Cloe is a super hostess!

Very friendly breakfast room staff.

We arrived and my card was not working and was not offered to stay we were told wait until12 to 2am until a supervisor arrived,Grandstay next door fixed the problem manual entered our information and my family had place to stay and booking.com was useless because we could not get customer service to fix our reservation when we needed never will I use booking.com for the hotel because no customer only email

Clean, comfortable, and great location. The attached restaurant was convenient. Breakfast was quite good. Medicine Wheel Park, which was next door was a nice place for a walk.

Our stay here was fabulous! Very accommodating for those traveling with their fur-babies and the breakfast was the best on our 8 day trip!! Would definitely stay here again!!!

The parking lot issue however that is out of your control. A heads up before I arrived would be nice though.

The room was great, the pool and hot tub as well, and the staff were super!

Room was great. Staff was helpful. One small complaint-the room was kinda dark. Could have used more light.
