We did not eat breakfast. We were assigned to a handicapped accessible room and did not request it.

move us, and waiting outside (they don’t allow dogs in the lobby) they decided it would be ok for us to stay in the room but the dog couldn’t bark. Sheesh! I didn’t need the drama or the stress. The facilities and location were beautiful but not sure I’d go back given the operations.

If you’ve ever wished you could go to a resort like Kellerman’s in the movie “Dirty Dancing”, this is the place! Accommodations are charming, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the views of the lake are gorgeous. No Patrick Swayze dance lessons but you can’t have everything.

Loved the quiet and the woods and our cabin The bed in our room was not up to the your excellent standards...it was broken down in spots where heavy people sat down on the side of the bed and had no firmness at all...was it a very old mattress? Hate to say it , but the beds at Holiday Innn Express are much better than what I encountered at your property. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful !

Beautiful property and cottage. Door locks were finicky. No heat in the living room but the bedrooms and bathrooms were heated. Would stay again.

We loved the convenience of having everything right there! Beautiful views, so much fun! The bed was not comfortable so we had a hard time getting good sleep

Cottage was perfect with a lake cove view. Adirondack chairs everywhere so you can watch the sunsets over the mountains to west. Gardens were beautiful! Make sure you hike the trails along the lake.

Wonderful property with everything you need just a walk away. So much charm and character throughout the property along with a very attentive and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay as a family with a 15 month old and a dog who loves to swim!

Stayed here for two weeknights mid-ish August 2026. Service was really great. Very professional and courteous. The rooms were nice enough. Ours was pretty spacious with a balcony with not much of a view (guess that is what you get for only $400/night). Pretty pricey during summer time. That said, the setting and grounds are spectacular. As they stress, a very traditional NE summer resort. We did not eat there at all and didn't partake of much of the entertainment they had to offer, but my daughters loved the ambiance, the historical buildings, the sunsets, and scenery. While we didn't partake of much of the entertainment, we could see it all around us. Regret is not spending enough time here (we treated it more like a hotel than a resort).
