Quality Inn near Mountain Creek

Great value for the money.

The lady at the front desk was great! The was not that great. It smelled like cat pee and regular pee. The hall had a musty odor. You can tell it is an older hotel. The free breakfast less then what you usually get so we did not really eat there. I know that a lot of places offer the free breakfast and it is free. However, if you advertise it , make it a better quality. It was easy to find but getting in an out of the driveway is a little crazy. I think I am done staying at Quality Inns because the Quality is not that great.

Staff was really good and supportive. Romms were good for the price you are paying for. Overall nice stay. We left something in the hotel room after checkout and later called the hotel and staff was good enough that they kept the stuff and returned once I arrived again.

Very friendly staff, super helpful. Property and amenities were very dated. Toilet was cracked and broken. But room had a very large fridge and was extremely spacious. Bed was comfy.

Conveniently located for our trip

The hallway smelled terribly. The room was ok. Bathroom was not the best. Shower faucet had horrible water pressure. Free breakfast was just cereal mini muffins and toast. You could make your own waffles from pre made batter which tasted bad.

From the moment we entered the property our experience was less than ideal. The staff member at the front desk should not be working in the hospitality industry. She never smiled and only conversed when required to give or get specific information. She was actually rude on a number of occasions during our stay and sighed deeply when having to respond to any questions or needs. Breakfast was very minimal, not what we expect when advertised as being included: 2 choices of dry cereal, toast, 1 variety of mini muffins, yogurt, apples, and instant oatmeal. There was a waffle maker, too. Very carb heavy with no protein to be seen. The property had a heavy musty odour, especially in the hallways. The elevator was scary - shuddering when moving and very loud. It would have been terrible to have a room near it! We used the stairs after rhe first time going up. The doors all squeaked loudly, especially the bathroom door. The closet door was broken. Coffee had splashed on one side of the tissue box cover prior to our stay and had been missed by cleaning staff, while the other was actually cracked with a piece broken off. The room darkening curtains were in disrepair and would hardly close. We are very tolerant travelers and all said this was one of the worst places we've ever stayed.

close to where i needed to go the following day. the lady at front desk was giving the business over the phone to someone when checking in. stayed there because of price and location. went to book again several weeks later and the price increased by $150. yeah no thanks. found another place much better for lower price

microwave and fridge in room air conditioner worked well. restaurants within a quarter mile of hotel. bed was comfortable big patch off the wall and not repainted!! small bathroom. cheap construction. some stains on bed covers odd odor in the lobby area (but not in room). Receptionist welcoming. could not figure out how he o work the tv despite instructions

Some staff were very accommodating, but the woman on the front desk on Saturday night, May 29 was very rude and not friendly in the least. My room, 118, smelled of mold and I was told I had to be “very quiet” as this happened to be the area where staff also sleeps. I will never stay at this location again. We left Sunday morning even though we payed until Monday, it was really not okay. I’m not a complainer, but this needs to said and your employee needs a little intervention.

We did not sleep here. There was a major power outage so we had 2 drive 3 hours to go home. The hotel is very old and it did not have a clean smell.

Breakfast menu was poor at best.

A continental breakfast was provided, but limited. The place is dog friendly. Miss Louise at the Reception desk was welcoming, pleasant, helpful, informative, and kind. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were supportive. The hotel is conveniently located. The bathroom door could not close if one was using the facilities. The tub did not drain well. The sink stopper did not work. The knob on the closet was stripped. The walls are very thin. You hear everything.

I like the place. I’ve already booked twice, and it’s very pleasant I had a very unpleasant experience with the receptionist who was working Thursday night. I don’t remember her name, but she was a blonde woman with blue eyes, around 50 years old. From the moment I walked in to check in and greeted her, she looked at me with clear displeasure and spoke to me in what I can only describe as a racist tone. It was so uncomfortable that if you’re going to have people like that working at the front desk, it’s better not to have them at all. She is the only person, out of my two stays, who has treated me so poorly. At the time, I didn’t know who to contact to report such unprofessional and unpleasant behavior.

Judy was wonderful and so sweet. The building itself was a little outdated and smelled a little moldy. The elevator was scary! Our room was close to the emergency exit and there was someone who brought in the strong smell of cigarette smoke which was very unpleasant. But overall we had a good stay for the price.
