Welcome to the Super 8 in Vernon TX. We are conveniently located on Main Street directly off of Hwy 287 near Vernon College and all area restaurants attractions and shopping. Once called Eagle Flats because of the local eagle nesting population Vernon is 15 miles south of Doan s Crossing the famous historical cattle crossing of the Red River. A must see is the Red River Valley Museum. Vernon proudly hosts annual events such as the Santa Rosa Roundup and Summers Last Blast. With modern amenities such as high speed internet microwaves refrigerators coffee makers and our free light breakfast item together with your choice of coffee tea and juice. Cockroach crawling around in the property. TV is hard to use. I ended up didn’t use the TV.

Room was not vacuumed well. There was candy scattered around the room and under the bed. Paid $20 for our dog and had to clean under the beds myself so he didn’t get the many M&Ms that were left there by previous guests.

Basic motel, no frills. Room was clean, clean sheets, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, hot water, basic breakfast. And best of all? Was half the price of the chain hotels in the area. Hotel fills up at night, so obviously a popular overnight stop for folks passing through. Would absolutely stay there again.

Older property that has been updated. Best thing was wood flooring, no carpet is always better. Thin walls and below average breakfast.

Room was clean and large. I had breakfast in the morning and the waffle was great. Over all a good value for the room rate. Thank you.

Staff very welcoming. Room was fine, but the outside areas were not clean.

Room was adequate, bedding, towels were clean. Staff pleasant, breakfast was good. Only complaint was parking lot was noisy in early am, heat/ air conditioner was very loud when on, otherwise I would stay again for a quick over night.
