The Founders Inn and Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The location is convenient right off the beltway. The room was clean and pleasant. The hallway in building 4 is a bit creepy but the stay was pleasant and I slept well. The hallways in building 4 were a bit creepy at first. It could be the dim lighting. The main building would've been nicer for my stay. I would think being a Hilton Honors member I would've had the opportunity to stay in the main building.

The facilities were exceptional. The bed wasn't the best, lumpy in spots

When I got into the room, the first thing I did was pull the curtains back and was greeted with dead flies and I'm assuming bird... stuff on the window. We had family stop by to greet us and they went to look at our view through the window, and it was plain embarrassing all of that on the window. I wanted to use the spa amenities but the staff member I inquired through as rude and there for I did not try any of it. Just rubbed me the wrong way. I took my niece for a walk to see the lake and the entire trail had geese poop throughout whole thing. I know they cannot help what nature does but the concrete trail can at least be power washed occasionally. Our phones had a hard time keeping a signal when not connected to their wifi. The tv would show crazy wiggly signal when we tried watching movies. We won't return for another stay but I guess it could have been worse

Room and indoor pool Outdoor pool was disgusting. Bird feathers in the pool as well as bird poop all over the pool. I really hope my family does not get sick from getting in the pool before we saw how bad it was.

Good room space, with coffee maker and refrigerator. The ground is excellent for taking a walk. The bathroom liquid soap container was empty. We forgot to mention it to the staff but were hoping that when they clean the bathroom, they'll notice, but did not

Gorgeous hotel.

No breakfast and my bathroom flooded but they fixed it quickly. The room could’ve been nicer but the turn down service A1.

Everything was outdated. The drain in the shower was clogged. The rooms were very small. The toilet seat was very low.

For the price of the hotel, we were expecting much more. The soap dispensers in the shower were out of stock and the shower in general had minimum water pressure. We ordered room service and it was lost, we never got a text saying it was coming. The staff did offer to remake it and brought it right to our room another 45 mins later.

The staff was excellent, the pool was nice, and hotel was on a Christian university(Regent). Hotel rooms were dated.

The Founders Inn is beautiful from the outside. The property is very tranquil and well maintained. The room was a bit outdated. It was satisfactory for a short stay. The staff was courteous and friendly. Check in & out was smooth and easy. Dinner at The Swan Terrace was delicious.
