Boring.
-
The in-room amenities were extremely minimal—just a single bed with no chair or sofa, which felt quite bare. Additionally, there was no breakfast offered, though this might have been due to the off-season.

The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Great accommodations, very clean. Staff friendly and professional. EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE for one night! Bring a full wallet if you plan on staying.

Great staff!

No services provided. No breakfast option or dining options during weekdays. They did not advice when we booked the room and did not recommend to rent a car so we were in-communicated. Also there was not a place to eat inside the hotel even if you wanted to buy your own food. Cleaning was not provided for the six days we stayed. Very disappointing for the price of the room.

Lovely slope side hotel with fantastic service, including free valet parking, and free ski and boot valet. Makes a Sugarbush ski trip fun and easy.

Although the hotel is clean and attractive and has a nice pool and hot tub there were things that did not measure up given the price point. There was no breakfast on offer and there was nowhere to go for breakfast. There were Keurig coffee machines by the elevators on each floor but no cream or milk. There was no fridge with milk, juice, cream and muffins in the lobby where one could buy something simple for the morning. We were there Sunday and Monday - We had dinner in their restaurant on site RUMBLES - perfectly good food but they had fruit flies which showed up all over our drinks and desert. The waiter did not have the reflex to offer any adjustment in consequence. He just said they were closed for 2 days and were calling the exterminator. Full price for dinner though. For Monday, there was absolutely nowhere to have dinner. The hotel knows this but only gives you a 2 page list of restaurants in the area with QR codes for the menus. You have to call each one yourself to find out if any are open on Monday. Why wouldn't the hotel reception be more pro-active and give some concrete solutions to address this fact. Also why wouldn't the hotel reception be more proactive about the fact that they do not clean your room daily even if you are not there for a week long stay - or offer you this service for an extra charge.

Most everything was excellent. There could have been better explanation of the parking & valet service as it was not clear where to park.

Exceptional

Just wonderful.
-
The main restaurant and bar are closed on monday and tuesday during ski season., completely unacceptable, only options, ski chalet cafetria or pub with limited menu (sandwiches), and closing at 8PM.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the Clay Brook is. Spur of the moment trip, we booked and unbeknownst to us this time of year is that in-between time of seasons. The hotel was prepping for the winter, so not everything was open and operating, but the 2-bedroom apartment was great. Only comment is that some of the linens for the pull out couch were not for a queen bed but a single.

The condo we stayed in had every amenity, was very spacious and comfortable

Wunderschön ruhig gelegen direkt am Ski Lift.

Very clean room & comfortable bed. Very slippery bathtub, needs anti-slip on bottom of tub and grab bars. Dangerous for all ages. Grounds were beautiful. Smoking area was provided but was down a path into the woods, no lighting, overflowing trash receptacle can attract everything from rodents to bears. I understand that smoking is not acceptable by many people but if it is allowed at the facility, a safe place should be provided for the customer.

We had a beautiful 2 bedroom suite with kitchen and laundry. It was immaculate. Only thing I didn’t like was ability to buy necessary items or eat on premises. Off season, store and restaurant not open most of the time and we didn’t know this when booking.
-
Location The cost for 2 nights $711 in the shoulder season, one small bedroom with no housekeeping was extremely expensive. The room had one chair, no desk or charging connections, small 300 sq ft. It was no better than any moderate hotel, at 50% less.

When checking our room was “out of service”, but the staff quickly acted and found us a “comparable” room. After a short wait, we were able to check into our new room, and could not be happier and so relieved to be able to unpack in our beautiful room! The two bedroom with one of the rooms being a “loft-type” was perfect for our teens to have a little separation. We cooked every meal, and the kitchen was perfect. Evening by the fire or in the hot tub was a relaxing end to the day. Mornings started with coffee on the balcony overlooking the green hills and some time on the tennis court. The location was quiet and within an hour of waterfalls, hiking and Ben and Jerry’s. Right from check-in staff were super friendly no matter their role and the grounds were clean and beautiful. Definitely a 10/10 experience and we will be back.
