Three Bears Waterpark Resort Near Tomah, an Ascend Collection Hotel

No toilet paper in woman's bathroom at the outside water park, ice machines didn't work, ac/ heat until vents were full of dust, 8/15 Saturday night bartender and cook were amazing people! made our kids waffles and pancakes for supper. We ordered breakfast 8/16 from there website

Will be visiting again.

My family and I really enjoyed the on-site restaurant! The pizza, wings and fried pickles were amazing! The staff was very friendly and nice during our stay. My children enjoyed the indoor water park as well!

Bar never opened.

We enjoyed our stay at the 3 bears resort. Small things like yhe elevator not working and running of food and drinks for supper were annoying but won't stop us from coming back.

The direct website for Three Bears was out of date. Only one restaurant was open and you were lucky to get someone to take an order, long wait and cold food. Did not bother trying to eat breakfast because nothing was filled. We expected way more with how this place was described on line. No towels at the pool, outside pool was hardly open. Mini golf course was run down. Arcade was not that great. No coffee in the room and when you went down to the lobby for coffee it was gone. This resort was very expensive for what you got out of it. Would be willing to give a second try only if a villa was rented so we could have access to food and beverages that is brought and prepared for by ourselves.

Best place to stay with family better then Wisconsin dells less crowded more fun

The villa was not well kept. Floor was very dirty, dishes were dirty, both toilet seat needed to be replaced. Multiple windows with blinds broken and curtains completely missing. All furniture should be replaced. Very used and beat up in general. Water park hours were too short and staff said because the owners didn't want to pay them for any more hours... the kids did like the waterpark

The food offerings were poor quality and minimal in variety Facilities were not very well kept Pool hours were not long enough

I would not recommend this resort to families at all. We paid a good price to stay here and the water park which was set to open at 9am was still not open at 11. A visiting family told us that they had been there for 3 days and this has happened to them each day. The room was filthy! Hair on all of our bedsheets, hair, dirt and crumbs behind each bed, wet sheets for the pull out couch in the dresser with no blankets. Microwave was filthy, stuff splattered all over. Shower curtain was ripped, bottles of shampoo etc all empty. Clothes bought from Walmart were sold for double if not triple the price they paid for them at Walmart. Also the waterpark outside the previous night closed a half hour early. So disappointed in the stay! The only good thing was the kind staff to be completely honest.

It's too small Waterpark. Inside Waterpark smile like wet towel, everywhere height 3 ft no height. Outside was Waterpark but water was cold. My kids was too boring. Inside hotel room A/C was warm air, it's was terrible for everyone to sleep at night. In lobby same A/C not working, even no fan . We must to stay 2 nights in the hotel, but for us we stay 1 night and leave, it's was terrible to sleep without air-conditioning. Parking lot terrible, scratch door. Outside was tempature 85F , same was in the room. NEVER COMEBACK, AND RECOMMENDED. sorry, it's just my experience, my opinion.

Other than that, we were very happy with our stay. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the staff was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our visit. We would definitely consider coming back.

The room was dirty from the second we walked in it. The housekeeping staff askels you to do their job for them. Pay attention to how much you’re charged at the restaurant because they will overcharge you for everything. The lifeguards sleep at the pool. Make sure you get towels early or they will not have any clean. Don’t ask for a refund or any sort of credit or express your complaints to the staff the only thing they will do is say, “ what do you want me to do about it?”

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Ordered breakfast took a half hour, it was cold. Mini golf course was full of weeds. I felt like buying some round up and treat the weeds myself.

Our room was on 2nd floor which was nice so we didn’t have to use the elevator; it also sucked because you could hear the people above us running down the hallway and shutting doors until midnight. Room and beds were clean. Bathtub in room was higher than a normal bathtub. You had to step up into tub, which was not a problem until you finished shower and forgot to take a giant step down. I nearly fell on floor. I warned my son before he showered and he also almost fell getting out of tub. Also no coffee maker in room, there are is complimentary coffee in lobby but it was not good.

We were there in winter and the water slides were only open in the evening. This wasn’t publicized anywhere so became a big disappointment for my kids the next day. Overall the stay was nice.

Was disappointed that half the waterpark was shutdown, especially having 3 littles and not being able to use that section we intended to hence why we booked there. When we went to the restaurant, I had to ask to have our table wiped down and no one was in the restaurant. Our buzzer never went off for our food, when we got our food it was cold. Talked to the cashier about it and they just smiled and said sorry. I walked up again and as I was walking up they made sure to grab the tip jar and put it on the counter and when I walked away they took it off. The room was at least up to a semi decent standard minus the the panel ripping out of the wall. Got charged an extra 30 dollars at the door for using expedia... Frustrating experience with kids.

Disgusting and not clean works smells like weed . dog hair all over the beds food in rooms they puts us in a new room. Justs for a another Disgusting room not a good place to take your family

Unfortunately, our room was not clean upon arrival. There was hair in the sink, food left on the pull-out bed, blood on the walls, and the floors were dirty. To make matters worse, half of the indoor water park was closed due to staffing shortages, and the outdoor water park was closed for maintenance despite the website indicating it was open. Our friends were so dissatisfied that they requested a refund and left within 12 hours. We chose to stay and make the best of our family weekend, but this experience was nowhere near what we expected based on our previous visit. I spoke directly with the owner regarding our concerns and the fact that we were unable to use a significant portion of the water park amenities we paid for. Unfortunately, no compensation or accommodation was offered. Sadly, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this resort to others.

The property has a lot of potential, it has a great facility, though seems like lack of staff and maintenance. Front desk staff did not seem very knowledgeable and speaking with 3 different people, we were getting different information each time. Room was not very clean-crumbs on the couch, dirty/sticky fridge, hair/stains/holes on towels, vents looked black. Pools were great but due to them being shortstaffed all pools couldn’t be used. Water in the pools had great temperature. Laser room was not working properly. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and really loved that there were no crowds anywhere. Would love to be back but hoping some cleaning issued could be resolved as well as better staffing next time.
