My room in the main house was a bit noisy; the room above mine appeared to be a utility room that was active early in the morning. I could hear footsteps throughout the day. The dinner was overrated, but the breakfast and lunch were delicious.

My wife and I went here for our baby moon, and it was one of the most relaxing enjoyable weekends we have had.

But other than that it’s amazing place

Staff was very friendly, grounds are impeccable. Food was great, room was very nice. Absolutely amazing experience

We had bugs crawling all over our room and we were unable to be relocated according to hotel staff it was disgusting
-
Incredible place - will definitely return.

The service at the Mayflower was like one other. 10 outta 10, will return!

The setting and the landscaping are beautiful and it is ideal for a peaceful weekend although often there are events downstairs and if you are in a room in the Main Inn you are up until that event is over and cleaned up around midnight. Some rooms more so than others but requests are not guaranteed despite being told otherwise. The spa is incredible, beautiful and the providers are some of the best in the spa industry. It is difficult to get appointments on the weekends though. If the menus could be revamped and noise issues addressed I’d add 2 stars back.

Chris welcomed us with such warmth and kindness from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. sweet and friendly demeanor truly added a personal touch to our stay. Thank you Chris & Katy Thank you to the wonderful team at Mayflower Resort for making our visit unforgettable NONE

The Mayflower was an amazing 4 star or 4 1/2 star property. It was terribly overpriced as a five star and for what was provided. The "gourmet" restaurant is truly an emperor with no clothing.

This was an amazing experience. The only improvement I would suggest would be to upgrade the indoor pool.
