The Georgetown Inn

Classic upscale DC Hotel in Georgetown. Only downside is Price but that’s what you expect here.

As far as I am concerned, The Georgetown Inn is the only place in the district to stay! Centrally located on Wisconsin Avenue in historic Georgetown, it is within walking distance to numerous restaurants, plenty of shopping, and access to anywhere in the entire city. I highly recommend The Georgetown Inn to everyone who is visiting the Nation’s Capitol!

This place is terrible. 1980s era cheap window air conditioning unit hanging of window. You cannot close the room darkening shades. Deangelo front desk clerk totally unsmiling, unhelpful. Elevator 1 of two broke down for a day, had to get by crew working on my floor fixing elevator. Very old plug multipliers so worn I could not keep laptop plugged in. Complained to front desk staff and told “not my pay grade “. Rained and water leaked on my floor hallway . Entrance so small auto has tough time getting through. Restaurant ok but closed at. 2pm several days per week. Closed for “private event “ with no notice. We paid average 400 per night for pay experience.

The staff were very nice. Close to everything in Georgetown was great. I would stay again.

Great spot

Loved the location - walked to restaurants and bars; loved the happy hour and the food! Great stay for 6?-adults!!

This was a lovely hotel! Close to some shopping and eateries. What a great place to stay!

Location. Restaurant is very good. Bathrooms are shabby; towel rod fell off, for example, and cleaning staff just ignored it. No minibar which is really unusual these days but the hotel has gotten away with it for years. "on request"

overpriced, 250$ for one night is too much for this type of hotel; no fridge and no microwave in the room, 50$ overnight parking is too expensive and it is valet only, so they hold your key during your stay; it is much cheaper to park at some public garage or on the street

I had a suite. The space is very adequate and a very nice size room and suite. While I was there, there was an issue with the air conditioning of the building and some temporary in-room units had been installed, which was much appreciated. The food in the restaurant is very nice. Of course the location is top. I had a Car and the ethiopian gentlemen at the parking service (who have been there forever) were very kind and respectful. Really love your hotel. This would be a prime hotel if you could give an overhaul to bathrooms and furniture in the bedrooms. The furniture in my suite was outdated and a little worn, not as sophisticated as it could be. Also bathrooms definitely need an overhaul. Very outdated, small, uncomfortable.. showers are old as is the counter. If you could invest in the bathrooms the hotel would gain a lot.

Perfect location in Georgetown!

Great location and very nice historic inn. Just extremely noisy rooms where you can hear water running through pipes, toilets flushing, doors closing, neighboring rooms, hallway noise, and street noise. Someone even had a dog in the room next us that was barking all morning. We did not sleep well at all. For the price, expected better.
