Fireside Inn & Suites Portland

The Fireside Inn was an enjoyable stay for my family. We loved the heated outdoor pool. Parking was very convenient. The location was central to many areas. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

This hotel is outdated and has a lot of work to do. We had to change bedroom because we had a wasp nest on our windows and they were coming inside. The cleaning was okay

I liked it for the location (close to downtown Portland and the beaches) and the helpful staff. Some nice amenities too like pools and spa room. Would stay again and probably will.

Staff were nice. Rooms and hotel are dated and parts are aging but for the price in this area, that tracked. Some parts of room were not cleaned but overall it was fine for a place to sleep

Two great pool options (indoor or outdoor). Older hotel but that's exactly what I like!

Convenient, clean and reasonably priced. The quietest stay in recent stays.

The “leather” office chair was cracked and looked like it was picked up for free on Craigslist. The bed was comfortable enough, however, we could not sleep because of the awful noises the air conditioning unit made ALL NIGHT LONG. It was a hot and humid night so it had to be on. The only time we were able to get quality sleep was when we turned it off at 5am. Brutal. Poor review mostly because the number one reason to stay at a hotel is to sleep and, unfortunately, we couldn’t. Room 2211 if you’re reading this Fireside.

Terrible mattress and pillows.

Hot tub wasn't hot. The gym equipment is dated. The rm I was in was a bit date.

The king bed was old and sagged , making it hard for a good nights sleep. The room key gets deactivated often and requires front staff assistance to reprogram. Outdoor pool area was a great relaxation point. The hot tub was cold and the jets were cold when turned on.

The staff were very friendly. The room met our needs and the bed was comfortable. The hotel could use a little facelift. A good value for the price

We had a great experience at this hotel. We have a dog and had absolutely no issues. The room was clean, it was quiet at night and the front desk staff were incredibly nice!

There was mold on the shower curtains and in the tub. The room smell like mold and mothballs.

Overall the stay suited our needs and the location was good and close to Portland. The hotel could use some updating overall, with the carpets and furniture looking dated. The staff was very nice and helpful. We appreciated the refrigerator and coffee in the morning in our room. The room was very clean. The grab and go breakfast while nice to offer was not great. The sandwiches were very processed and not fresh. No fresh fruit or yogurt, just fruit cups and applesauce. We passed on it all. Despite some of its faults we would stay here again for a short stay and appreciated the location, amenities, friendly staff, and affordability.
