Employees were very nice. Had to ask for a different room due to small issues. Pools were nice and relaxing

The only thing that was not all that good was the air conditioning. I had it set and it kept going up or kicking off before reaching what I set it at. Which was 70-72 degrees, not unreasonable. However it would climb to 75 and turn off. So I had to keep turning it off and on, to get it to kick on, then I had to turn the fan up and down, to get the fan to stay on high. Very annoying.

Very clean! Friendly staff, great location. Kids loved the pool.

I would have given 5 star but I found someone glasses in the shower and wasn't sure if the shower had been cleaned well. I did grab some cleaning supplies to clean the shower myself.

Great staff. But the hole is just a bit dated

Honestly was above my expectations. Room was very clean. Bathroom was SPOTLESS. All common areas were also clean (at least on our floor/area it is a really big hotel so can’t speak to elsewhere). The location is great and close to a lot. I will say it’s not a bustling hotel by any means but it gets the job done. I saw lots of complaints about the low sinks and the “breakfast”. Yes the sinks are low, no I don’t think that should ruin your stay. When I booked I didn’t even know they provided a grab and go breakfast so I was pleasantly surprised that there was coffee and snacks in the lobby!

The staff and everything was great. A softer bed would have been nice but everything else was good, even the grab and go breakfast.

The staff greeted me well - very friendly. Roll was clean and very tidy / parking was close / always appreciate that.

Clean friendly staff. Was great for what we needed.

The one helpful feature is a small coin-op laundry (poorly maintained) on 2nd floor. Generally it feels like a 1955 Holiday Inn brought up to 1990 standards then minimally maintained. Only 2 stories for many many rooms. HVAC noisy & intrusive; "grab & go" breakfast is a joke.

Clean and friendly staff.

Staff were great. Room was clean. Bed was not comfortable and lock on door was awkward. Would recommend for a short stay.

The courtyard was a good space for our group of teenage boys and families to hang out, use the pool, pavilion seating (evenings) and tables/chairs to eat when we got takeout; Beds were fine in terms of comfort; The rooms did have small refrigerators and microwaves that came in handy: Close proximity to stores, old orchard beach, downtown Portland. The outdated decor, which we could get past, but the hallway and rooms walk to wall carpeting had better days, felt kind of dirty; the front desk manager - who’s approach to responding to guests’ questions or requests had a negative, unfriendly demeanor that felt very unnecessary.

There was a barking dog in the room next to us

average hotel near the airport

What more can you ask for?

The hotel looked forgotten when we pulled up and we worried we were the only people staying there. The parking lot looked dirty and the front appeared run down. The staff was friendly when we arrived at the front desk. We learned that they tell people to park around back - not sure why. Inside we felt like the hallways had a Shining feel to them. It seemed like the kind of hotel people stay at when they are between homes. It was clean enough but not a place where I would want to stay again.

Facilities were nice, the rooms were comfortable and it was very clean. It was too early in the season for the outdoor pool and patio. The hot tub / jacuzzi was hard for older people like us (60’s) to get in / out of.

There was no complementary bottles of water left in the room. Most of the basic hotel chains do this. The prices change based on the day? Bottle water one night was $2.00, the very next $3.00. The breakfast was nothing to write home about they had breast biscuit sandwiches you had to heat up in the microwave. They offer fruit cups and granola bars and muffins. That was it. Wasn’t impressed. I had to take a cold shower because their thermostat was having an issue. There was no off of a discount. There was said there was no base there was no complementary bottles of water up in the room most basic hotel chains do this. The price is based on the day bottle water one night was two dollars. The next night was three breakfast biscuit the breakfast was nothing to write home about they had breakfast bis
