Every thing was good but the weather was very hot.

The breakfast buffet provided for our work group was great. Can't think of anything.

It's a beautiful park. We enjoyed walking around the gardens and riding the train through the zoo. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. I know you can't really help the layout, but it was a long, tiring walk from the lobby to our room. It takes a while to figure out the layout, and find shortcuts. And although the on-line information says there are elevators (and there are), we still couldn't avoid some steps in getting to our room. Also, we were disappointed in the limited dinner menu in the dining room (which was very expensive, but we expected that). But the breakfast choices were very good. We also ate at the "Cantina" on the terrace. The view was beautiful. But again, limited choices. I had chicken enchalades which were good except they had too much crumbly cheese. I would have preferred a nice white cheese sauce.

Property was nice. Room was clean, however, the blow dryer did not work. Staff was pleasant.

Beautiful location.
-
Friendly staff, clean facility, beautiful location We weren't told about the adventure package available until after we separately paid for several attractions.

Just what I needed on for an overnight on a long trip. Great views and lots of amenities and services right on site.

Nice clean rooms and a beautiful setting. The way we were treated was disappointing. One Example - My family were asked to stand to the side after ordering In coffee shop while locals were served and their food prepared and then after sometime we were told our items were no longer available. Please treat everyone with respect.

Updated rooms! Clean resort and tons of fun activities.

The whole stay was amazing! Meal in the restaurant was wonderful also.

The view was breathtaking. The rooms are bigger than average and the beds extremely comfortable. Do not miss the nearby Oglebay mansion, you can either drive to or walk from the hotel, which tells a lot about the incredible history of Wheeling, which in the late '800 was one of the most prominent industrial hubs of the region. Restaurant seems to be run by a third party and has bad reviews.

Beautiful property. Carrying staff and great restaurants on the premise.

Beautiful property

The Skyline Buffet is excellent, and the Lakeview Cantina is a must-visit with live music, outdoor seating, and cozy fireplaces overlooking the lake. The rooms may have a traditional style, but they are clean, comfortable, and comparatively spacious. Most rooms also come with a deck offering beautiful mountain views. Overall, it’s a perfect getaway destination for families with toddlers and pets.
