the property is beautiful, there’s so much to see and do

I only have one word for the accommodations, dining and golf…….EXCELLENT!!!!!

Beautiful scenery. Lots to do. Most of the staff was extremely nice and helpful.

However, wallpaper was peeling in my room. The bathtub was very slippery with no rubber mat and no handrails. We asked about bike rentals and were sent to the Activity building. It was locked - we found bike rentals at the climbing site. Unfortunately there were no bikes to fit a 5'1" woman. Staff person was very apologetic. Fitness room and movement studio were well stocked and very nice.

We enjoyed both the Skyline and Trace restaurants. The food presentation was beautiful, but the waiter in Trace wasn’t very well informed about the wines on the wine list. We were also initially served the wrong meals. For a restaurant at this price point, I think the wait staff could use some training and finesse. The food itself was very good, but the experience and ambience is also important. That being said, we would certainly consider returning to this beautiful property if we are in the area.

Cleanliness was the main thing for us! Plenty of parking. Area was great with a sheetz and a few things below the hill! Pool was really clean and not alot of traffic there witch was nice. I was not able to get on any of the 3 golf courses that was the main reason we came up. Said they had tournaments or something! I feel as those ruin alot of these resort/ Golf couses. Tournaments need to be elsewhere public couses.

Was such a great stay from start to finish.

The biggest problem was that we lost power the morning of our checkout. Their generator on supports emergency lights. It was also a rainy weekend so there was very little sunlight. I couldn’t see much in my room and left a pill caddy and an expensive computer mouse. We were golfing in the resort so I stopped by on the way out to get them and they weren’t turned in. There was also someone checked into the room already. I still have ever heared back from them on my items.

My room was moldy and full

Food was fantastic at skyline. Did not eat at others. There was a food truck event on site. Great wood fired pizza truck and taco truck. Golf courses are a little worn out. Too many ball marks on green. Maintenance needed

This place is a total gem for Pittsburgh. Just over an hour away and so many things to do.

The place just felt warm and welcoming The food was very good but they need to bring the chicken pot pie back

My experience at Oglebay Park Resort was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making the stay comfortable. The property itself is beautiful — peaceful grounds, well‑kept facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere throughout. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. And the Skyline restaurant was a standout: excellent food, great service, and views that made every meal feel special. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable getaway.

Oglebay is a gorgeous resort and the staff is friendly and efficient. I will plan a trip to stay longer next time.

Superb

We used to come here every year as a treat and always loved it. We moved out of the area and were driving through and wanted to stay again. The room was tiny, the bathroom tiny, and outdated. There were a pile of beer cans in the common area and trash all over there the next morning. This is not the beautiful place we remembered and we were very dissatisfied
