Kandahar Lodge at Whitefish Mountain Resort

No elevator so luggage in/out was a little difficult, but it has a ski lodge atmosphere.

Clean and cozy room with great location.

A wonderful older lodge with a great room in lobby area with fireplace and cozy corners to sit or play a game of backgammon or something else. A very tiny bar The Snug will serve drinks and sandwiches or salad wherever you’d like to sit in bar or lobby. Staff very friendly and helpful. Open windows in our room to have mountain breeze. Continental breakfast was ok - but not great. Coffee very good and hot. Oh - and Pendleton blankets on each bed! Lovely time.

Beautiful area and lodge. The only downside is that there is no elevator but staff will handle luggage for you if asked. I highly recommend this place

Breakfast free Food was horrible and very minimal. Sauna was broken. Limited parking, and need more lights in parking lots for safety. There was a large black bear that walked up and by rear door as we were getting out of our car at night. Never seen it. Could have been very bad-we have 2 elderly people with us. They cant run or walk fast. Aaron at the front desk was very nice though.

Everything was great, especially the front desk staff and restaurant.

It was a great experience for us with the Kandahar lodge, their hot tub is must try one

Great resort, staff was amazing and so helpful. No elevator makes it tough for elderly but overall a great place!!

A beautiful place to stay. I stayed there in June, the off season. No skiers. It was just peaceful.

We absolutely LOVED our time at Kandahar and would be thrilled to come back. The lodge was such a fun vibe. We hung out in the lobby area and played cards while we had drinks from the snug. My daughter who snowboards wants to come back in the winter for sure. The gym was great for me to get a workout in before our day of adventures began. So thankful for the food we could grab before we headed out also. If we go back to the area Kandahar will be where we stay! Oh and the beds were so comfortable. It was hard to want to wake up in the morning!

The property is located at a nice scenic place in the mountains. We used it as a base to go to glacier national Park. The only downside was that it is quite a distance outside whitefish, but the place is wonderful of nicely looked after.

Would stay there again.

Front desk staff was very helpful and kind. Wonderful variety on the breakfast bar. Beautiful lobby with comfortable furniture to relax. Great food in the restaurant

The place has a very warm atmosphere, great continental breakfast and nice staff. I bet it’s even better in the winter as ski lodge.

This place was lovely, great location, clean, and scenic (top of a mountain location). We had 3 kids with us and there was enough space for the whole family.

Even in the summertime, the coziness of this lodge could be felt in the details of this property. It made me forget that we were on the third floor with WAY too much luggage and no elevator lol. The staff was more than willing to help carry your bags but it was our choice to pack too much so we decided not to punish them. But back to the warmth of this place, I have never been one to “hang out” in a lobby area of a hotel until my stay here. Bringing our drinks from the Snug out to the couches to just sit and chat with our kids. I would love to come back in the winter and I don’t even ski! I would just want to experience this magical place in the winter.
