The property was beautiful outside. Inside was very nice with roaring fireplace and comfy couches and chairs. The main drawback was the stairs! No elevator! We had a room on the second floor- 2 sets of long stairs. At 83 and 79, the stairs were not an easy task. The front desk did help us carry luggage up when we arrived, thank goodness! The room was nice unfortunately one of the 2 beds was against the wall which created problems for getting an out. The breakfast was great, the eating area was small but you could eat in the living area-couches and chairs. Overall a nice stay with some issues. Considering the stair issue, we will not be repeat customers.

Our favorite part was the charm - the gardens, the views, the hot tub, the ability to open a window for fresh mountain air.

Liked the breakfast. Nice options Need better sun shades in the room. To bright so hard to sleep in if wanted

Nice property up on big mountain. The breakfast was decent. Rooms clean, not crazy about carpets everywhere including the stairs, not very clean. The restaurant is super expensive, had to eat out all the time.overall a decent place to stay

We had a great room with a loft. Good for a family with two kids. There is NO elevator though. We had to carry our luggage up several steep flights of stairs. Parking was easy. Beautiful flowers out front.

Staff was nice and helpful! The lodge was in a beautiful location with great views! Loved the lobby and the cozy atmosphere! The continental breakfast each morning was a plus as well!

What an absolute stunner! I love the authentic ski lodge feel. A well-maintained property. Not sure when it was built but the exposed pipes, and wood details make me think this chalet has been around a while but tastefully kept and updated. The windows open so you can enjoy the mountain air, a fire is kept going in the common area, antique and leather seating throughout, and actual cutlery and dinnerware instead of throwaways. Just cozy and comfy exuded everywhere. The room is spacious and tidy, with a little kitchenette, and an updated bathroom. Staff has been so kind and friendly and helpful. Glad we found this mountain hideaway.

In addition, the lady who checked us in was very unhelpful and indeed condescending when asked for assistance or recommendations. I am sure the whole situation is different during the ski season, but not great for the time of our stay.

Its a old lodge, very well maintained, clean and a good English breakfast. There is no lift. You have to carry all your luggages yourselves via steps which is a big drawback. Otherwise the lodge is excellent for stay.

We only were there for 1 night, but wished we would have stayed longer! This is a unique and cute property, the staff greeted us immediately and were beyond helpful and welcoming. The room had charm and was very clean. Then the continental breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had! Checkout was smooth and easy. Would recommend to friends and family.
