Hampton Inn & Suites Wiggins

We left our room to go and get something from the car and the key stopped working. Across the hall was a room where the door lock had been cut out and it was a bit concerning. Also did not like that the side door entrance did not have a keyed entry and we had to walk around after taking our dog out. Charging $55 after Epedia said pets were free was enough to not stay here again. Although the state this hotel was in allows carried firearms, the hotel did not allow them in their property. No armed guards were provided either which makes all of their guests subject to the criminals. We will never be back to this location.

Clean and comfortable. Quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was adequate. Would stay again.

Hotel was easy to find, grounds were well maintained. The pool was clean and centrally located. The room was outdated, furniture looked old. There was no remote for the TV and the front desk was not aware that it was missing. The bathroom was clean and the shampoo and soap containers were convenient. The mattresses were worn. The pillows were very comfortable. It seemed that there were twin comforters on queen beds. The breakfast was excellent with a lot to choose from. Kitchen staff were nice and helpfu. Hampton Inn at one time, was one of the best places to stay. It seems to be on the same line now as all the rest.

Breakfast was great. The room was clean. The building was clean. The beds and pillows were so comfortable.

The staff was very friendly. The front desk, housekeeping & breakfast staff were very friendly. Facilities & room were very clean. Hotel was very quiet.

Needs update

The staff were very nice and helpful when needed. I was in room 303 and the majority of the room was well appointed. The tub was dirty and there was no hot water for a day. Towels are also very rough.

This is our “go to” hotel when we visit our friends near Poplarville. Hotel is located in a quiet area, but near “necessity” shopping. They offer a hot breakfast with a variety of foods and good coffee. Beds and pillows are comfy, bathroom is large and roomy. In room small fridge and coffee maker always makes our stay better.

Nice hotel just need some updates and ice machine to work on the floor you staying on and A/C working on the floor halls.

We enter our hotel room and it was beautiful and clean! We slept good. Breakfast the next morning was awesome, too. I mean not a few food, but a variety of choices to eat. I highly would go back on my next trip there.

Easy and quick check ion was a plus. The bed was comfortable and the room was roomy. The room however was very smelly. The carpet was stained everywhere. The toilet was dirty. The linens were very worn but clean. The doors were peeling at the bottom. Splatters on the wall. Just a very worn hotel.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and got the job done for an overnight. Would definitely stay here again.
