As for the rooms- they were awesome! We had a two bedroom unit and it was just excellent. There was a full kitchen, two bedrooms, two full bathrooms (one a master with soaking tub and separate shower) and a beautiful screened-in balcony. We loved the rooms! All said, this property exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend for a family vacation!

The property was nice. The room was clean. When entering the room the temp was set high and it was a hot summer day so that takes time to try to cool off. I found the bistro to be misrepresented and the staff were difficult to order from and said they did not have items like water of all things and had a huge board advertising a special which the staff person said I don’t know about that only the manager does so we don’t have it. Parking is expensive be prepared to pay and not have a close spot. There was as only 1 handicap spot remotely close to the unit. They will try to convince you to go to an hour presentation to purchase a time share.

Beautiful area but had trouble with the AC and hot water
-
Very bad mattresses. If you are looking for a good bed and hot shower only expect one.
-
I did not see the need to pay for daily parking. If the facility was in a congested area with limited parking then maybe. Other hotels of similar quality did not charge for parking. So when your ad says what you see is what you pay this is incorrect.

Property was beautiful, however the room was awful. Smelled like mold, high humidity in the room and the supervisors did awful in addressing the issues.

Sadly we only had a short stay and didn't get to take advantage of the wonderful amenities available to us between our short stay and rain. The grounds were lovely, the room was clean and well sized, everything was as advertised. There is a lot to do on site including daily scheduled activities. We would choose to stay here again if we return to the area.

Excellent stay and great location!
-
Wasn't made aware there was a breakfast Could of eaten dinner on campus if made more aware of options. We went up to the Country Club but couldn't find a restaurant / grill. Nobody to ask there so we went off campus to an Italian Restaurant which was good.
-
the information desk (overseas?) was TERRIBLE - had to constantly repeat myself, finally gave up and went to front desk
-
Families seemed to enjoy. They had grill and pool in the area we stayed in. It was quiet! They didn’t make bed everyday. Parts were under construction and at first it was hard to find room. Needed to drive from reception area.
-
The building we were in was a little worn around the edges, and for a 4-night stay, the room was only cleaned once and we had to request additional towels.
-
Very beautiful property. Staff were very friendly. The room was very clean. N/A

Closeness to Williamsburg

Exceptional
-
The bed was so uncomfortable. You could see the dents on both sides of bed where other people stayed. The 20 dollars per day to park.
-
Did not go on property. Room not made over. Room was way down end of 3rd. Floor. No breakfast. Navi directions allways tryed to direct us through gated community.

Near to Jamestown General facilities very limited the restaurant was a tiny pokey cafe area with high stall chairs at bistro tables, no proper relaxation area. Really not the standard expected of a Hotel, Rediculous timings: room Check in 4.00pm and check out 10am. No mini bar, instructions in the room requested to remove own rubbish and strip the bed at end of stay! Despite being in a rural area with masses of parking the parking was charged, which is just another profit maker for the Marriott chain.
