Wedmore Place

The room and environment is charming. The breakfast was just ok, we decided to go out for breakfast both mornings. The breakfast area is clean and has a good view of the pool.

This is one of my all time favorite places! The hotel is so beautiful and unique! So many indoor and outdoor places to relax! The Gabriel Archer Tavern is a short walk from the hotel and has delicious food and drinks!

Beautiful property with unique rooms. Wi-Fi is slow and inconsistent - this needs to be addressed.

We loved our stay! We came for our anniversary and it was so quiet and refreshing. You’re close to everything, but far enough away to be peaceful. The property is gorgeous and the rooms are beautiful.

Very quiet and peaceful. Delicious breakfast with hot and cold items, fresh fruit, coffee, juice and a barista for made to order drinks. Be sure to check about restaurant hours. They were closed on the days we were there so we went to a couple of local nearby. Wine tasting was a fun feature and the grounds are beautiful. Check in, check out, and parking was very easy even with a wedding party on site. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel was clean and inviting and the staff were more than accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and served on china plates with real silverware and cloth napkins. It is a beautiful venue!

The breakfast lacks better coffee, fresh baked bread, needs fresh eggs not fake eggs etc…

A beautiful historic boutique hotel on a 100-acre estate with a vineyard and tavern. The owners and staff were very gracious. A great way to enjoy the Williamsburg area.

The only reason for four stars instead of five was the noise from the room above us. I expected some creaking from an older property—that is part of its charm—but the sound carried much more than expected, and we could hear the guests above us quite loudly throughout the night. Next time, I would request a room on the top floor.

This was our 3rd visit and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The rooms are splendid and eclectic. It's a nice way to visit Williamsburg. The complementary wine tasting at Williamsburg Winery is a real bonus and well worth it. The wifi in the room needs work. Cell phone reception is poor so unless the wifi signal improves, it's difficult to have functional internet usage.

For people who like very hot showers or strong water pressure, my room did not have that. It wasn't bad for me but I know people like it more intense than me. Also, the thermostat was just kind of odd/confusing, but once we figured it out we were comfortable. Oh, and if you need air movement/noise, bring a fan. The bed was awesome. The atmosphere of the building was awesome. The breakfast was awesome. I would definitely stay here again.

Stay was good except for hot water missing first day and tv inoperable for the entire stay

The help was extremely friendly and helpful. Pool is not fancy but at the perfect temperature. Floors are old and creaky but add to the overall atmosphere of the place. Daily breakfast was more than enough to start the day.

Loved the atmosphere of the whole place and room and liked how cozy it felt. The staff was awesome and breakfast was great. The room was a little dark, our air would not cool below 70 but the bathroom was amazing Had great light for hair and makeup and had a big magnifying makeup mirror. The Inn was easy to get to from anywhere in Williamsburg. Loved the drive up to the Inn, very quaint.
