Holiday Inn Express Williamston by IHG

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I didn’t like being wakened up every morning at 9am by housekeepers trying to get in the room. I wish they were aware that I was staying for a week and that I would inform the front desk if I needed anything ahead of time. Overall my stay was pretty good.

Only close option to Williamston Horse Arena. Amenities were sparse to nonexistent not up to standard of brand nor were front desk staff who routinely were too busy on their cell phone to friends/family vice tending to guests. Very unprofessional!

Hallways were very hot, no AC in them. Ice machines on first and second floor were not working. 1 elevator wasn’t working. I came and asked front staff for some butter as our food pick up didn’t have any and she said its locked in there and didn’t offer to go get any. Our wifi didn’t work and when we left I told fro t desk and she said did they give you this slip of paper I said no. I went online and it asked for room number snd last name but didn’t work.

Check in and was immediately told the pool was closed. Walked out there and people were swimming. Extremely disappointed.

The staff are very friendly. They have an awesome breakfast. Very clean. I like staying here. I always feel so rested when I leave. There was nothing that I didn't like.

I had a bad smile in my room and they didnot do anything about it When I told them about my room had a smile she didnot even go and see

Bed bugs and roaches.

Especially liked the location and overall hospitality. The hotel could use some serious upgrades. The tub/shower was stained, covered by a mat. The TV never worked properly.

The location I went to breakfast at 8:30 and I was told they were already out of a few things. I did not get any eggs or pancakes.

We booked our room here during our daughter's graduation from East Carolina University. It was a welcome reprieve from the numerous hotels in Greenville, but we're charging an arm and a lag for rooms that didn't even come close to the comfort, cleanliness and availability of this space. It was a 25 minute ride out of town and it was well worth it just to get out of the craziness for a little bit while we were here for her graduation.

Excellent staff and room was great. Would definitely stay here again. Location was great as well.

This was for us not the best for the money. The property was clean but dated and our room actually smelled like a dog may have stayed in it. We were given clean towels but coffee bar was not replenished. Outer parking lot had no lights and it made a difference because this hotel was out in a rural area. Breakfast was good. A big variety and hot and the staff were more than helpful. Probably would not stay here again.

At 5:30 in the morning the fire alarm went off and , before I could get to the first floor it had stopped. I went to the front desk and the girl with no personality goes the kitchen got to smoky. Come back to my room that night and the AC was blowing hot air , so I had to go back down stairs to as for a new room.

Property was nice and much cheaper than staying in Greenville. Breakfast was hot and good. Rooms were nice with microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge. Direct Tv with some movie channels. The only reason I deducted a star is because we were in a room on the first floor which was right next to the stairs and the side entrance. So multiple times a night I’d wake up to either one opening and closing. Also, this morning around 5:50 am the fire alarm went off. By the time I had gotten dressed and was about to walk out, it stopped. It’s not their fault for that one though. Just wasn’t able to fall back to sleep after. So kinda sleep deprived after staying 2 nights there. :/

Conveniently located to my destination. Staff could have been more outgoing. When we arrived, the desk clerk was on the phone with another customer. She checked us in at the same time without the usual pleasantries.

I have no words. However, I will never stay here again.
