Spark by Hilton Wilmington Carolina Beach Rd

Very courteous and clean and helpful

The employees were amazing, so helpful and kind. The pool was great. We knew the hotel is older. But the bathrooms do not have a fan or exhaust system, so it was humid in the room and there was mold in the bathroom that you could smell. Thankfully it was a short trip and we spent most our time outside of the room. But I wouldn’t stay there again.

Breakfast was light, but good. No dislikes. Everything was good.

The hotel and room were clean. We were in a room on the road side of the hotel and there was a lot of traffic noise. The breakfast was ok. Cereal, oatmeal, bananas, apples, small muffins and bagels. Nothing hot but still nice. Staff was awesome.

Room was clean but the AC sounded weird and it took it a bit to cool off the room. The bathroom was SUPER SMALL. The door almost hit the toilet with maybe an inch to spare.

Exceptional

The staff at Spark Wilmington are fabulous, going out of their way to accommodate and assist you. My bathroom door stuck or scraped the floor when it was opened or closed. I did not report it. It was not that bothersome to me. It may be to another guest.

Very clean and very friendly and helpful Small bathroom

Easy to find off the main road, place was very tidy and beds comfortable. Breakfast was rather limited (bagels, porridge, fruits and some cereal).

Very good

Newly renamed Best Western with new Hilton signs and coat of white paint. Lipstick on a Hotel. Staff was extremely friendly. Did not like the openness of entryways for non guests. DoorDash was let through directly to room at midnight. Instructions were to leave in lobby for safety reason.

Musty mold smell. Dirty bed etc. Stay away from this property.

The location was great. Close to everything we needed. The bathrooms is small. The bed covers/ blanket was not clean. The room had a terrible smell to it. No smoking section. It rained the 2 nights we were there and there was no place set for smokers.

Hotel was convenient to where we needed to be. Vanessa the evening front desk person was excellent! Very helpful and pleasant to some things I needed help with. She was great!!

Good location and hotel

Superb

Nice

Staff was friendly. Rooms were mostly clean & comfortable. The actual hotel was older than I expected and some areas needed some repair & paint. The continental breakfast was lacking for the price paid. The floor in the room was not as clean as I would expect, found pair of socks left under bathroom sink, obviously missed by the maid.

Very good
