Holiday Inn Wilmington by IHG

Excellent hotel with very clean rooms and nice staff. Away from the larger cities in this area which made it a must for me due to cargo I was transporting from my destination.

What is this dark magic at this hotel? Everything about it was perfect. The hotel itself was so beautiful, and the price was perfect, and all the employees were so kind and they genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. Even the tiny woman who was cleaning the floor in the lobby seemed relaxed and had a big smile on her face and made eye contact with the guests. I was also very impressed with a young man who checked us in. It was as if we had stepped through some kind of tear in the universe and found Shangri-La. I am not exaggerating. Why can’t all hotels be like that?

The room was simple and clean, the downstairs was gorgeous and comfortable. You can take wine/beer out of the restaurant and sit and relax with friends downstairs which is nice. They have a coffee shop type place for breakfast, we haven't tried it yet, but we will probably in the morning since I don't want to leave for breakfast again.

I stayed here for the AKC Rally Nationals and was very pleased with the accommodations. The hotel was extremely clean and staff was very helpful and polite. Having the dog exercise pens and open field was a great way to help my dog relax each night before competing the next day. The gym was a well stocked gym with plenty of dumbbells that I was able to get in a great workout. The food at Ralph's Garage was tasty and didn't break the bank.

Nice place to stay and the bed was comfortable. The pool was heated and well maintained.

This is my go to hotel when visiting Wilmington! The rooms are clean and comfortable. A beautiful patio area and lobby and the staff is ALWAYS COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL!

It took 4-5 hours to cool the room enough to sleep No breakfast. Told to try the restaurant next door

All though we did not use, the property has a restaurant and bar. Parking was plentiful, elevators to upper floors and clean well equipped rooms. The receptionist could have been more helpful however she was not rude, just didn't give any information without being asked. We did not have breakfast but read it would be surcharged and I prefer hotels that provide breakfast included in the price all though many are becoming pretty inadequate.

We were given the incorrect room! Unpacked and we’re settling in when another person tried our door. They also had keys to our room. As it turned out we were given their room with 2 beds and they were given our room with 1 queen.

Our room was not what we expected from this Hotel. A used wash cloth was hanging in the shower and the desk chair was rusted and hold torn material. Stink bugs on the shower wall. We got in late after driving 11 hours so we didn’t notice until morning. We left for a funeral for the day so we didn’t want to pack up and change rooms. The Hotel offered to reimburse for one night. Expedia has not been responsive.
