Clean, comfortable, and a great breakfast with a variety of food options.

The breakfast is excellent and the bed is comfortable.

Beautiful, fresh, clean!!! It is so clean feeling and smelling! We stayed at a nearby property on our way down to our location (Wytheville is the perfect half way spot) and the difference in feeling/look/cleanliness is astounding. We will be ensuring we choose Holiday Inn Express in the future. Wish the breakfast had an omelet option.

Neat and clean! I did not find anything I did not like.

Indoor hot tub was nice but pool was somewhat small for the amount of people in the pool. Was loud in the enclosed room. AC in room was noisy requiring to wear earplugs. Also needed to keep temperature low for room not to get too warm during the night. Breakfast had good choices and breakfast area was very clean.

It was very clean and the staff was great.

Hot tub was comfortable and clean, the pool was beautiful. Room was very nice and comfortable. We did have a problem trying to regulate the temperature.. but it didn’t take away from how nice everything was. This will be our overnight stop on our way to our vacation destination each year.

Staff fantastic, couldn’t go to hot tub or pool because there were too many children in it. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was too crowded (at 7:30 in the morning) no seats available even in the lobby and very loud. Cold food so we left.

We liked the proximity to local attractions.

Good location. Room size good. Bed comfortable. Crumbs on loveseat and on the floor next to loveseat upon arrival as if nobody had vacuumed room. Made staff aware but did not offer to clean. We brushed crumbs off and flipped cushion over and made staff aware that they were there so we weren't blamed. I wasnt happy with extra sales tax or whatever fee was on our departure. Otherwise stay was acceptable.

Most seriously, we received a room phone call claiming some credit card issue. The caller knew my name, and that a stay there required a vehicle parking fee and credit card for incidentals. I went to the main desk and they knew nothing so the caller was a scam. Desk could not explain how the caller got directly to my room phone. This could have been disastrous for us. No one besides Booking.com and Holiday Inn Express knew we were there. I may not want to use either again without some better explanation.

We liked everything about our stay. The staff, the rooms were spacious and clean and the pool was amazing after a long day in the car. The breakfast was a great finish to our stay and delicious! The cleaning staff was also very friendly. We didn't like that we didn't have more time to stay. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
