Super 8 by Wyndham Union Gap Yakima Area

For an extended stay, the staff is accommodating. The breakfast is enough for the price. Hk is great. Location is right for being able to get around.

AC temp knob didn't work, tv remote barely worked.

For letting have an extended stay, the effort to maintain is a comfort

Parking was good and walking distance to a couple restaurants.

We have stayed in Super 8 before in other cities but this one I will say was the exception. There was only 1 glass in the room for coffee and when we went to breakfast there was no coffee in either of the locations and it was early in the breakfast time. There was very little to choose from for breakfast also.

Room was OK (but there is no "ground floor" - 1st floor is about 7 steps below ground level. Not fun when you have stuff to carry...).... Breakfast was MEH .... cold cereal, waffles (which I don't usually eat) and some boiled eggs. Biggest issue (besides the floor configuration) was the shower - NO HOT WATER!!! Barely lukewarm.... OY..

The room itself was dark, hot, and had a damp, musty smell. Thankfully, there was an air conditioner, and it cooled the room down fairly quickly. Before we even left home, we decided we'd rather stay there after the concert instead of the night before, so we contacted Expedia to change our reservation by one day. Expedia was helpful and willing to accommodate the request, but the hotel manager refused to authorize the change. From what we could tell, the hotel had plenty of availability, so moving the reservation by one day would have been simple. The lack of flexibility was disappointing and left us with a poor impression of the hotel's management. That said, everyone we interacted with at the hotel was kind, courteous, and reasonable. Our frustration isn't with the front desk staff, who were pleasant and professional, but with the manager's decision not to allow what seemed like a simple reservation change.

Attentive, caring, understanding and efficient

The pool was terrible the water nasty….a couple staff was very good but the rest was awful…. try to tell them have a nice day … they said don’t speak no English…

Nice hotel. I always stay when I’m in town.

Extended stay and grateful for the experience of stay

Pool definitely wasn’t clean, it had a mold musky smell definitely could used some deep deeep cleaning but room it self was nice and staff was super nice and friendly

Breakfast not good

I needed a good night sleep and this place was there, fair priced, what I needed and ... I got a good night sleep

No juices or hot coffee present at breakfast. Pool water greenish snd swampy and only ice machine in facility is not working. In room coffee pot missing liser drawer that holds coffee pods so inly able to use it for hot water. These folks especially corporate owners can do a much better job.

Older motel but our room was clean. AC unit ran cold. Very nice staff. Nice indoor pool. Quiet area. Restaurants close. Breakfast was decent. Apples, Hard boiled eggs, Yogurt, cold cereals, packages of oatmeal, little muffins, toast, juice, coffee and make your owm waffles.
