Canyon Lodge & Cabins - Inside the Park

Parking is good. Food facilities is far from our lodge.

Great location.

Great central location, but the dining options were more like a college campus and the beds in the Dunraven lodge weren't that comfortable.

The property was clean and well maintained. The rooms were extremely small and the shower was tiny. No television in the rooms.

On my way out to get something out of the car I met "Karl" the buffalo about 18' from the front door just grazing on some grass right next to the hotel- seemed to be enjoying his laid back life and since thats what your in Yellowstone for HOW COOL WAS THAT.

Limited quality food options and terrible Wi-Fi were the downsides but the lodge was wonderful. Large spacious rooms and very comfortable beds.

Location was awesome, had options for dining! Great to not be in line to get into the park!

Convenient location for staying inside Yellowstone Park. We stayed 3 nights. Convenient parking and close to stores and restaurant options. Walkable paths to main lodge or shopping was great. Rooms are dark and need additional lighting. Even with window shutters open room was dark. Room only had one mirror and it was over bathroom sink. We would stay again because of the location.

Loved staying here with extended family! Location was great, setting and accommodations lovely.

Great location near the Yellowstone Canyon. The facility was well maintained, but the room was small, no dresser or closet, one nightstand, small shower. The parking was often an issue if you returned after dinner, which you had to do because the lodge had no dining room. You had to travel to the Village for food and the walk back at night in a natl park with bears around was not our choice.

Wonderful part of the park, staff helpful. Heard Elk from our room!

This hotel was overpriced for the room. No TV, nor coffee in the room. The coffee shop in the am at the hotel had a long line so we did not wait. Basic room for the hefty price. I would not recommend staying there.

Very nice location. It would have been helpful to know that you register in one building and then there are several hotel buildings for the actual stay. Also, the food in Canyon Village was pretty bad, not that the hotel had anything to do with that...

Loved the location, design and cleanliness of the property. The only negative was getting stopped by security for not using a blinker in the parking lot. On this stop, my companion was also given a sobriety test that went on forever at the front door of our lodge. I felt this was a little excessive since we had just come from eating at the diner and he had followed us clear to the door. Of course, there was no problem and we went on our way.
