Grant Village - Inside the Park
About Grant Village - Inside the Park
Grant Village is located on the southwestern shore of beautiful Yellowstone Lake. It is named in honor of president Ulysses S. Grant who established Yellowstone Park as America's first national park in 1872. Grant Village is made up of 6 two-story chalets, each containing 50 rooms. This complex is close to many of Yellowstone's famous attractions. Old Faithful is just a little over 20 miles away, and Grant Village is also closer to Grand Teton National Park than any of Yellowstone's other in-park lodges.

Microwave would have helped a lot

- location: walkable to the lake, two dining places, trails. - excellent staff : very friendly and helpful. Thank you for trying best given age of the property. Cons: - old property, needs lots of updates - broadband is not functioning so plan on your own if you want to connect - definitely overpriced for its condition, very poor value

Great stay

Good location

Very good

Relaxed atmosphere, not a busy part of yellowstone (YS). Good clean property with a nice chill staff. If your headed to YS this is great for day trips, spend your time in Lamar, during afternoons. Good tacos, good drinks, great staff

i wish the room has more amenities like microwave. that would be helpful with leftover

The cabins were also very average. Most of the other hotels/cabins we stayed at were much nicer and the food was also much better. This place needs some work both in terms of hiring warmer, friendly people and quality of amenities.
-
The parking lot was a little too dark to see where the doors were and what the name of each building/lodge was which made it difficult to know where to park when first arriving (although, it's not normal to arrive at 1030PM either..)

Lovely location, clean and nice
-
Rooms have no microwaves. Also, the campground veas closed (mid June), and so the laundry facilities were closed. Otherwise a nice stay, but know what you need before you book.

It was nice and clean room. Staff were helpful. It is inside the park. Dining option is very near the hotel, it need reservation for dinner.

Loved being by Lake Yellowstone. The store nearby was helpful. The room was a little loud - our neighbors' kids were loud each evening and the doors shut heavily. The location was about 30 mins from Old Faithful etc. but we liked being away from the crowds in the evening.
-
Perfect for hiking in the park. Restaurant in the village was very good.
