Grant Village - Inside the Park

Room was clean, but small. Beds comfortable. Shower extremely tight. Restaurant on site needs reservations. Great waterfront to watch the sunrise.

Building is beautiful. Well maintained. Bathroom is nice but was not cleaned from previous occupants Hairs on the shower walls and floor. Room needs more likely to light at night.

No air conditioning however we didn’t need it, that was ok. There was no TV in the rooms was a bit disappointing and the room was a bit small. Overall it’s was ok we just needed the room for sleep we were gone most of the day anyway.

We liked the proximity to areas of the park we were interested in exploring, but this lodging was a disappointment.The building was dorm like and quite noisy. The room was just ok, the carpet appeared pretty old and not clean. Our visit was during shoulder season and everywhere we went we were told they were getting ready to shut down for the season, so staffing was at a minimum and felt like not much effort was put out to accommodate. The on site restaurant was understaffed and the food was mediocre and overpriced, which is typical for being inside the park. We liked the location near the south entrance since we were going to Grand Tetons next, but in hindsight we would choose another location to stay in any future visits.

Beautiful area. Room was fairly clean and what staff we encountered were friendly.

Full queen size beds would be great!

Hotel is old and outdated. No clock, no television, no microwave, and weak WIFI signal. Furniture is sorely outdated, thermostat is primitive and there is no indication of temperature setting. Carpet needs to be replaced as well. This was our third visit to Yellowstone and the first time that we stayed inside the park. While it was convenient to stay in the park it was disappointing at the poor quality and lack of amenities at the hotel. Guests deserve better accommodations for amount of money they are charged for a room.

The bathroom floors especially around edges have gunk in it, there was hair in the shower and on the floor when we came. Looked like it was just a quick cleaning, but never finished the floor was not fully vacuumed and the small refrigerator didn't keep anything cold and made noise all night, but beside those items about what we expected. Size note, dinner is only by reservation....but there is little to no cell coverage to make a reservation, you have to use thr landline in the hotel.....and we'll it was full.

We stayed the night here last night. The check in was very long, but the staff was nice. The rooms are very dated. Our bathroom smelt like mold and had the smallest shower I have ever seen. The room does not have many plugs for charging phones and such. There was no tv and the internet was spotty at best. We did go to dinner to the restaurant on the property and it was not very good and overly expensive for the cold food we were served, plus the wait was over 20 minutes for my husband to receive his beer from the bar. We were there for 1.5 hours and spent more time without anything served to us then with. Our waitress was only at the table for maybe 3 times. It was not worth the price in my opinion.

I did not expect WiFi , but I got WiFi for all the days. Breakfast Ala carte would be great. Since it’s end of season , we could not get veg breakfast options .

The accommodations were fine but there is no elevator. Something that was okay for us but may be an issue for others. The more casual dining option was a bit of a walk. The formal dining room had excellent food and hard working staff. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The location was perfect for the three days we were there. The rooms are dated and the pillows (if you want to call them that) and mattress were horrible. The rooms are tiny, but since we were only there to sleep, it was okay. The restaurant had good food and the staff was friendly.

The room is clean but the bathroom is really small, everything else is great!

It has REAL cups and glass to use in room. How wonderful!!!!

I was expecting more of this place for the price. The bathroom was tiny, at 5'2' I barely fit in the shower, not sure how my 6 foot hubby did it. The room was nice. It didn't have a TV, which was fine with me, but if you're into TV it was disappointing. There were no elevators. It was a convenient location to get to where I wanted to go in the park. The breakfast buffet at the restaurant was very expensive. It was fine for my short stay.

Restaurant was terrible. Ran out of domestic beer. WiFi was sporadic.
