Ok for what it was - but it was not advertised as Rustic with no AC property needs up dating

Location is everything! Walking distance from Old Faithful and plenty of restaurant and shops. Plenty of hiking trails and fascinating nature ! Our cabin was not in the lodge itself, but next door buildings with two units each. It was a bit rustic, but clean and comfortable. Would do it again....

Property was filthy. No ac, no tv, mold all over the shower curtain. Cob webs in all the windows. My dog would not want to stay there. 200 dollars for nothing.
-
The cabin was really cute, but very small. It was a convenient walk to the restaurant.
-
We had a great stay at the cabins. It's so close to Old Faithful.

I stayed at the cabins at both old faithful and mammoth. I found it better than the ones in mammoth hot spring. I really like to location!
-
Nice hotel in a great area. Walking distance to Old Faithful. Staff helpful & polite. We will stay there again when we return to Yellowstone.

Everything is good, but not worth the price we pay.

Please read the hotel’s descriptions. This place doesn’t have an AC. It was in the 60’s & 70’s when we visited and it was ok with the windows open and stand fan on. Very convenient while visiting the park. It’s walking distance from the geysers and trails. I chose this for convenience and location around Yellowstone. Food court closes early and hardly nothing after hours. My family enjoyed the stroll around the old faithful trail we walked for hours it was very nice. If I have to do it again, I will plan to skip the stay on this hotel (very expensive/ amenities/ no ac ) and instead do a north to south, stay outside the park for a better quality hotel and food choices.

Had a great time here. The only problem with this property is the amount of tour buses that visit. It gets crazy busy because of this.
-
The plywood "cabin" was spartan, but clean enough. It was certainly not what I expected for over $300/night. It seems like the entire Snow Lodge grounds is one giant construction area. I would not stay there again.

Following a 1:00am-6:30 am blackout on the coldest night (temps in teens) of our stay I presented to the hotel mgr that the price of this hotel was that of a 4 star hotel when it is a 2 star hotel. He agreed straight across the board. The aforementioned blackout meant no heat! Combined with no cell phone service (Verizon or T-Mobile), no telephone in room and that means you can’t even find out what’s going on. Why won’t the Yellowstone high priced properties catch up with the times and figure out a way to get EVERYONE cell phone service? And no TVs? Can adults not determine whether or not they can watch TV after a long, marvelous day exploring the world’s greatest national park?! This is a free country but Ystone hotels don’t want you to have freedom. The park punishes hotel stayers outside the park by creating long lines to get in. 2 stars for this hotel is generous. Our upgraded cabin had a gross, dingy bathroom, average bedding and the least attractive room you could put together. The restaurants are an incredible ripoff for awful food. Bring your own food! We did for the most part.

I had a cabin, amazing, did exactly as it said on the tin. Staff very helpful

We reserved a room with two queen beds. What we got was a handicap access room with one full and one twin bed. The room was very small. When we asked to change the room we were told there was no other room available.

Great place to stay within the park.
