Howard Johnson by Wyndham Yuma

Ac worked poorly needed to buy a fan to have any air , the drawers of the night table and dresser wouldn’t stay closed. Very Limited breakfast options.

Upon arrival, the pool was closed, and the water was green. The room reeked of smoke. The staff just said “sorry”. That was it. The room was very dated and the bed stunk like smoke. The A/C was noisy. There is a derelict building attached that had old fixtures and beds just lying outside. There was no one staying there. I can see why. We will never stay there again! Absolutely horrible!

The room was clean however the bathroom floor turned our feet black and the walls needed to be cleaned. One of the reasons I chose this hotel is because they had a pool. When I arrived and the duration of my stay the pool was closed because it was never properly maintained. Also, I got locked out of the room and called time front desk. I then had to walk there she said she fixed the card and went back. The card still didn't work and she sent someone else. This employee started to bang on the key card detector with her first. That's not a fix that's a one time solution.

It was a comfortable stay

This is my favorite place to stay when I am in Yuma. The property is well maintained and the staff is super friendly. The location is ideal for my shopping and my husband's VA appointments and I can get a great pedicure right across the street! I would love to see a hot tub at this location.

Good

Nothing No pool, no coffee maker, no coffee maker at breakfast and finally no hot water for a shower before leaving. I pointed things out the day I was there. And I'm the morning with no hot shower I asked for a refund but was told they couldn't as I booked through a 3rd party, Booking.com.

Exceptional

The room was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. The outside definately showed its age and could use sme paint and elbow grease. Also, the weatherstripping on the door left a gap that was troubling. The breakfast was ok but the choices were limited. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

It was a good price it wasn’t filthy It had pealing paint. It was like a cut with a bandaid. Shower leaked. Cooler made horrible noise

From the warm welcome at check in, the front desk acknowledges my repeat stay and is appreciative, but I see the other checkins are treated well as me. The rooms are always comfy, large by todays standards, appointed nicely, breakfast is a nice selection of fresh waffles, cold and hot cereals, juices, fresh fruit and coffee or tea. Can't complain about anything. Non Nothing.

Convenient location near shopping. Room was typical for an inexpensive motel. Fine for a one night stay.
