The breakfast staff is so friendly and really doing a great job. Storybook and college events are wonderful draws for people. Ramkota owners should capitalize on this with updates and maintenence.

This property seemed to be in transition. The Ramkota name was no longer on the building, leading me to believe they were moving from a branded hotel to an unbranded one. The positives of my stay at Ramkota: overall nice, spacious room with expected amenities and good amount of storage, seating, and sleeping space. Negatives noted: food left in fridge from previous customers, outdated blue bathtub in need of replacement including the worn-appearing moldy backsplash/surround, only a partial roll of toilet paper in room for six people, three towels for six people, smelly hallways, unheated pool, and tv with inability to adjust the volume. Overall, it felt like the Ramkota, which was likely once a very nice property, was being left with subpar standards and going downhill. For the price we paid for a suite with king, queen, and pullout, I don’t feel the value was achieved. Additionally, the receipt delivered to me the morning of checkout showed a lesser charge than what my credit card was charged four months prior during the reservation process. This leads me to believe that Expedia made a substantial profit off our room alone. Like this hotel, I will be avoiding Expedia in the future.

I can’t say I liked anything about the property. There were used towels left in the bathroom. The beds are uncomfortable. The property seems very rundown. The front looks to have been updated. Trash left in the hallway and outside around the property. For the cost, over $300/night, it definitely was not a $300/night property.

Hallways were dirty and smelled like weed. Rooms weren't cleaned very well and there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Front desk was kind of rude and not very helpful.

Staff was very rude . Room was not ready when we arrived at 4. They couldn’t tell us when we could check in. Was very disappointed.

Pool was full with birthday party’s with non-paying guest . Kids running around and adults not really watching them. At one point there were over 15 kids in the Hot Tub ages 3-12 with no adult with them or even watching them. Swimming, was there splashing acting like kids do. We asked the to leave and get an adult like the rules said. The parents of the kids went crazy. The staff didn’t care , they said it was ok for the kids to be in the hot tub without an adult. It was crazy. I will never stay here again.

Our original room was nice, but the shower was completely old rusted out tile not really fit to shower in for the price of the room at $250+ a night. We booked that room because we needed three beds for our large family. We told the staff at the front desk and they moved us to another room which was considered an upgrade. However, it only had two beds we were assured there would be a cot for us, however late into the evening we were told all the cots were gone so we had to go get a blowup air mattress from a local store. This was very frustrating as we were paying for three beds at the $250+ a night plus we had to go spend $100+ dollars on air mattress and bedding for our two night stay. I would not recommend staying here for the price you pay.

Friendly staff. Not enough towels. No breakfast after 9am. Minervas not open. Birthday party next to our pool rm took our table and chairs. Chipped paint.

Room was ok, continental breakfast was closed, hallways dirty and smell.

Room was very loud with screaming children most of the two nights I was there. Outside was horrible from potholes big e ough to swallow small cars to people working in their cars, doing oil changes etc. Very disappointing stay! Would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel.

Breakfast cutoff at 9 am is aggresssive. smoking policy should be more heavily enforced.

The hotel was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled of marijuana every where. The staff was very kind. The rooms were pretty clean. The beds were clean but not comfortable.

To put it in the words of our 8 year-old: “That place was super sketchy!” We are generally a pretty laid-back crew when we travel as a family, but this hotel was a MESS. Upon opening the door to our first room (#101), we were smacked in the face with the smell of cigarettes. We have a kiddo with asthma, so staying put was a non-starter. The front desk was apologetic and moved us to the opposite side of this maze. Unfortunately, the other side of the hotel must be the weed smoking section. We had to shove towels under the large gap at the bottom of the door to keep the smell/smoke from giving our kids a contact high. For the sake of brevity, additional concerns in no particular order were: room was directly next to an interior fire door that slammed all night, loud music playing in the courtyard until at least midnight, our room fan and A/C rattled and smelled like burning tires, the ceiling and lamp had cobwebs and the shower had mystery short/curly hairs stuck to its walls. For $200/night, we expect more. Checked-out as soon as we woke up. We would NEVER EVER voluntarily stay here again. 0 out of 10, would NOT recommend.

2 of our 4 nights people were smoking and it was getting in our room. The staff said it gets in the ventilation system and they can't do anything about it. The shower did not hardly drain at all.
