Best Western Ramkota Hotel

The parking lot was terrible! Pot holes that were unbelievably huge! The hallways to get to your rooms were extremely dirty, and the pool was out of order.

The staff was very helpful. The restaurant was delicious. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

There was trash in the garbage can and black mold in the toilet and the room door struggled to open

Hotel checked someone into our room while we were in it. Thankfully my wife wasn’t “getting ready” nobody seemed to have an answer how this happened, nor cared. Thankfully all of our belongings were accounted for. They had us “checked into a different room number in their system”

Major reason for low rating was the shower in our room did not work. When I attempted to call the front desk, the in room phone did not work. I walked to front desk and waited 5 minutes for someone to come. They took down my problem and room number and said they would send maintenance. After two hour no one showed up. We had to check out. I stopped at front desk to let them know that no one came to fix the shower so we were unable to take showers before leaving. She said, "maintenance will get to later today." I said, " great, we have to check out now." She had no response. I told her it was ridiculous that we paid 200 a night to stay in a room without a working shower and her reply was he will get to it sometime later today. Not much help for us.

The room was not vacuumed and the tub/shower was disgusting. Mold. Paint chipping. Slime in the drain… Staff was friendly and helpful but the facilities were bad.

Mold in bathrooms. Bees and spider webs inside patio doors. Smells of mold in rooms and hallways. Years ago nice place now just plain nasty. Will never stay here or recommend this place to anyone.

We brought our grandchildren to the hotel for the pool/waterpark. They loved it and it was a big hit to them. The part we were so disappointed in was the overwhelming smell of marijuana smoke in the hallways and lobby area, which we had to walk through to get anywhere in the hotel. For this reason, we do not think we are going to bring the grandkids back.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. From the moment we walked into our room, we were hit with a strong odor of stale cigarette smoke mixed with alcohol. The entire first floor of the hotel also smelled heavily of marijuana, making for a very unpleasant environment. We ended up buying our own air freshener and Lysol wipes just to make the room tolerable and clean surfaces ourselves. The hotel did send someone to run an ionizer in our room, but unfortunately it made no difference. The bathroom was especially concerning. It was dirty, with mold-stained walls that clearly hadn’t been properly maintained. Our room phone was also broken, so whenever we needed assistance, we had to walk all the way to the front desk instead of simply calling. To make matters worse, the hot tub was closed, which was one of the amenities we were looking forward to using. The lobby and hallways throughout the hotel were covered in mud and dirt, giving the entire property an unkempt appearance. Overall, this hotel is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and major updates. Cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort should be a much higher priority. We were very disappointed with our experience and would not choose to stay here again.

My wife and kids stayed there, I wasn't present. They said it was dirty, and musty. Kids enjoyed the pool other than the annoying birthday party going on. Won't be staying again though, especially at the price we paid.

Property really needs to be updated. Outside really needs to be cleaned up.

Run down, dirty, and not well maintained. Their breakfast was a decent spread. Staff was nice.

Our AC stopped working and maintenance was pretty responsive but couldn't fix the problem so they moved us quickly to a new room.

Very spacious room; the pool area, although I didn't use it, looked awesome, The room wasn't the cleanest, but I've been in worse. Being in a room that faced the courtyard, the shears didn't provide the best of privacy, so I had to keep the slider curtain closed most of the time. The onsite restaurant was great! Excellent variety of food and drink choices. Complimentary breakfast had plenty of protein options. I would definitely stay hear again, if the opportunity presents itself.

Pool, rooms and hallways were unbelievably filthy. The pool was so dirty you couldn't see your feet in 1 foot of water. My kids lost their pool toys because they couldn't see them in the water
