Our stay was extremely disappointing. From the moment we walked into our room, we were hit with a strong odor of stale cigarette smoke mixed with alcohol. The entire first floor of the hotel also smelled heavily of marijuana, making for a very unpleasant environment. We ended up buying our own air freshener and Lysol wipes just to make the room tolerable and clean surfaces ourselves. The hotel did send someone to run an ionizer in our room, but unfortunately it made no difference. The bathroom was especially concerning. It was dirty, with mold-stained walls that clearly hadn’t been properly maintained. Our room phone was also broken, so whenever we needed assistance, we had to walk all the way to the front desk instead of simply calling. To make matters worse, the hot tub was closed, which was one of the amenities we were looking forward to using. The lobby and hallways throughout the hotel were covered in mud and dirt, giving the entire property an unkempt appearance. Overall, this hotel is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and major updates. Cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort should be a much higher priority. We were very disappointed with our experience and would not choose to stay here again.

My wife and kids stayed there, I wasn't present. They said it was dirty, and musty. Kids enjoyed the pool other than the annoying birthday party going on. Won't be staying again though, especially at the price we paid.

Property really needs to be updated. Outside really needs to be cleaned up.

Run down, dirty, and not well maintained. Their breakfast was a decent spread. Staff was nice.

Very spacious room; the pool area, although I didn't use it, looked awesome, The room wasn't the cleanest, but I've been in worse. Being in a room that faced the courtyard, the shears didn't provide the best of privacy, so I had to keep the slider curtain closed most of the time. The onsite restaurant was great! Excellent variety of food and drink choices. Complimentary breakfast had plenty of protein options. I would definitely stay hear again, if the opportunity presents itself.

many accessible room and this was by far the Worst I've ever seen.

The room could have been cleaned better. There was leftover food from the previous guest in the fridge. The room we had was a no-pets and nonsmoking room, but it had a smell of animals combined with cigarette smoke. The pool area and pool were clean.

I ordered supper from restaurant and it was delivered to my room and was really good! Room was clean. Breakfast area was clean and good variety of items. Would stay again.

Room was clean. Other than when we checked in we never saw any staff. We didn't make it to the breakfast ever so can't comment on that. One thing to note, the front desk person stated there was no elevator in the building, so if you have someone who can't do stairs, better make sure you get a ground floor room.

The breakfast staff is so friendly and really doing a great job. Storybook and college events are wonderful draws for people. Ramkota owners should capitalize on this with updates and maintenence.

This property seemed to be in transition. The Ramkota name was no longer on the building, leading me to believe they were moving from a branded hotel to an unbranded one. The positives of my stay at Ramkota: overall nice, spacious room with expected amenities and good amount of storage, seating, and sleeping space. Negatives noted: food left in fridge from previous customers, outdated blue bathtub in need of replacement including the worn-appearing moldy backsplash/surround, only a partial roll of toilet paper in room for six people, three towels for six people, smelly hallways, unheated pool, and tv with inability to adjust the volume. Overall, it felt like the Ramkota, which was likely once a very nice property, was being left with subpar standards and going downhill. For the price we paid for a suite with king, queen, and pullout, I don’t feel the value was achieved. Additionally, the receipt delivered to me the morning of checkout showed a lesser charge than what my credit card was charged four months prior during the reservation process. This leads me to believe that Expedia made a substantial profit off our room alone. Like this hotel, I will be avoiding Expedia in the future.

Good breakfast. The pool was fun.

I can’t say I liked anything about the property. There were used towels left in the bathroom. The beds are uncomfortable. The property seems very rundown. The front looks to have been updated. Trash left in the hallway and outside around the property. For the cost, over $300/night, it definitely was not a $300/night property.

Hallways were dirty and smelled like weed. Rooms weren't cleaned very well and there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Front desk was kind of rude and not very helpful.
