Comfort Suites Abingdon I-81

This was the best Comfort Suites we ever stayed in. Friendly and cheerful staff. Very well maintained and clean. Comfortable room. Excellent bed. Highly recommend.

Friendly front desk staff. Helpful advising local dining or festival events. Especially comfortable bed; better than most. Bathtub/shower could use a grab bar! Would definitely stay here again,

Rooms were clean and very spacious. Staff were attentive and respectful. Great continental breakfast, good choices and good was hot. Clean eating area. The only thing missing was bananas

The breakfast was great and the staff were very nice. Even though it is an aging building, they maintain and clean it very well. The room size was large and the electric fireplace made a nice nightlight. We really enjoyed the large indoor pool and hot tub. There weren't any towels in the pool area but luckily we had our own and didn't have to use bath towels for that. Our room definitely had a damp mildew smell like there had previously been water damage but we had spray air freshener that helped a lot. Lastly the bed was too hard for my liking but my husband thought it was good so I guess it's just a matter of preference.

The front desk staff was very friendly. The breakfast was terrible and empty. We waited for 20-30 minutes for them to get more food out and the bacon was so thin it was see through, and the gravy for the biscuits was as runny as could be. Gross. The room smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room.

We checked in at 11 pm and the desk clerk was right there and he already had our key package prepared. The room was clean and comfortable and that's all that we could ask for.

Pool was full of rowdy teenage boys with no adult supervision , therefore we did not feel comfortable going in the pool. Otherwise would have been 5 stars across the board . Would definitely stay again if traveling through .

Large pool, decent gym with free weights, clean room

For a quick family getaway, in a busy weekend for the city, our stay was perfect. Clean, comfortable, great hot breakfast, super staff.

Exceptional

All was great except for the breakfast .. especially the 2nd day of our stay 7/26. The bacon was not Done! It was clearly visible. The staff lady refused to cook it more. Plus, no offerings of any sweet rolls. Coffee ran out and she was no where to be found. Plus just her overall lack of concern.

This hotel was definitely not as nice as the reviews made it seem. Not very clean or updated. More like a 7 out of 10. We will not be staying there again.

Location, price was good Room smelt like cigarette smoke..really bad! Didn't notice smell the first day but definitely the next day... guessing cleaning product smell wore off..
