However - Vicky at the front desk was so sweet and tried to make our stay better. The final straw was realizing the hubcaps from our vehicle and trailer were stolen during the final night.

Breakfast was a few wrapped grocery store pastries, apples in a basket, and burnt coffee from a counter-top machine.

Owner very rude about our service animals and us getting clean linens every day. Try to accuse us of stealing a blanket, told her to go back on her cameras to see that she didn’t give it back and she would not. Very unfriendly owner got mad that we want clean linens every day because Lady staying with me has to be very sanitary does not have breakfast like it says only has danishes muffins juice and coffee very rude when you go get coffee it says don’t use all my sugar and things like that

I did not like the idea that they would not allow my service animal with me in the lobby.

The location was convenient and the lady that was working when we first checked in was really nice. They do not clean the rooms AT ALL. There was hair and dirt all in the tub that I had to go request products to clean myself, there was hair all in the sink and on the counter, the microwave didn’t work, there was a dead palmetto bug next to the bed my son slept in, and the floor had not been vacuumed in awhile which you could tell from the amount of trash on it. I spoke with a man that’s been staying there for the last two weeks, and he let me know that the housekeepers do not clean the rooms at all and that he had to purchase his own cleaning supplies to clean his room. They also advertise breakfast and there isn’t any.

The location is very suspect, and the grounds are terrible. There is a pond that is filled to the top with scum and trash. Lots of unseemly looking characters that make you feel uncomfortable at the hotel. The room was not clean. Black mold on the wall, the carpet was dirty and unraveling. The bed seemed like it was unstable and could fall at any minute. The grounds and hotel are very old and in poor condition. We will not be going back or recommending anyone else to stay there. The staff was friendly and effecient, but that was it. Cleanliness, repair, security.

Gap under the door just big enough that allowed spiders and beetles to crawl under the door.

…I have stayed here twice bc it’s so cheap but u def get what u pay for…I want to like it more….the rooms def need some updating or at least change out the carpet/flooring to help it feel cleaner. The rooms are stuffy, the AC old and loud and musty….prolly shud give it 3 stars but the staff is very nice and it was my choice to be frugal and stay there.

We were rationed on towels and toilet paper. No tissues in room, took us 12 hours to get a roll of toilet paper. There was trash on floor under bedside table that was there from previous guests, and bugs on the floor when we arrived. The pictures were misleading- rooms didn't match and there was no available pool- it was a swamp in the back.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Very comfortable beds with clean linens, and A/C kept the room at the set temperature. Great location with Kroger, Walmart, and Dollar Tree within walking distance. I would stay here again if limited options, but I would prefer somewhere cleaner and more secure feeling. Breakfast was lackluster. Muffins, apples, and cups of juice concentrate with a coffee machine and sometimes cereal. The bed was noisy when I moved or got in or out of it. The carpet was dirty and there was a gap in the door frame large enough for bugs to get through. Water-stained ceiling, gaps in the drywall, and bug carcasses under the furniture. The parking lot was littered with cigarette butts and trash. Some of the guests were questionable, often stopped and asked for money in the parking lot. Not a secure feeling stay.

No hot water in evening. Breakfast was basically non existent.

We arrived very late at night and the lady that checked us in was so lovely and helpful! If we are ever in the area again we will stay there and say hi to her!

It was convenient and exactly what I would suspect for the price. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would give it 3-4 Stars. We will stay here again. Older motel, could use upgrading.
