Convenient location

The whole property is just cool. I’ve stayed twice and had two different room types. Both were gorgeous and well appointed and very quiet, especially for the suite, they have thought of everything. It’s a great parking situation. Walkable to additional high caliber, coffee shops, and other important downtown Akron stops.

Nice design

Meals were quite enjoyable. Musical entertainment a nice bonus. Front desk staff was extremely helpful settling my bill as I made a mistake not making my booking.com reservation payment in advance. One of the days I noticed that one area of the bathroom had not been cleaned properly, and there was no bathmat, so I almost slipped on a wet spot on the floor. The other observation was that since the doors are really heavy, people tend to let them slam when they are leaving their rooms. At 5 am that can be a bit jarring. Perhaps a gentle reminder to guests that maybe they hold the door before it closes completely so as not to disturb others guests.

All was well per usual !

We liked the visual of the rooms and hallways as well as the rooms themselves. The back courtyard was the worse. I don’t think any of the cushions have been cleaned nor has the concrete been pressure washed. Very foul urine smell. The parking deck is also horrible. I’m not sure who maintains it but it also lacks care of the property.

Very clean room nice staff

The room was updated, clean, and really nice. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were helpful and informative. Highly recommend the restaurant and using the parking garage that leads right to the hotel.

The hotel was very clean and was one of the best examples of turning an old office building into a hotel that I have stayed in. Often such facilities feel like they tried to squeeze too much into a small space but this did not. Very well done. Ticket dispenser for the parking garage was not working properly and we had to speak with Hotel staff about how to resolve. The Hotel does not manage the garage, but because guests park there it does have an impact on your stay. The on working elevator was a bit slow when use was heavy.

There is a parking garage that has a courtyard walkway to the hotel, which is convenient. It was free on the weekends!

Exceptional

Our room wasn’t cleaned or beds made or changed for 4 nights, only once was our trash emptied, I’m very disappointed in our stay

The property is really nicely appointed. However, could use more shelf space and towel racks in bathroom. And a greater variety of pillows for the beds. Different sizes of thickness would be great.

We were there for a show at the Akron Center and everything was wonderful. I love how it’s within walking distance of so many things. Would definitely recommend to others.

The room was nice clean and very comfortable. Easy walking to the ballpark for baseball game.

Nice hotel stay with friendly staff. Beds were comfortable and I loved the pillows! Enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the hotel No problems. A bit pricey for a single night stay. The parking garage could use more signage to get to the check in location.
