BLU-Tique, Akron, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The hotel was very clean and was one of the best examples of turning an old office building into a hotel that I have stayed in. Often such facilities feel like they tried to squeeze too much into a small space but this did not. Very well done. Ticket dispenser for the parking garage was not working properly and we had to speak with Hotel staff about how to resolve. The Hotel does not manage the garage, but because guests park there it does have an impact on your stay. The on working elevator was a bit slow when use was heavy.

The room was very clean and the staff where helpful

There is a parking garage that has a courtyard walkway to the hotel, which is convenient. It was free on the weekends!

Our room wasn’t cleaned or beds made or changed for 4 nights, only once was our trash emptied, I’m very disappointed in our stay

The property is really nicely appointed. However, could use more shelf space and towel racks in bathroom. And a greater variety of pillows for the beds. Different sizes of thickness would be great.

We were there for a show at the Akron Center and everything was wonderful. I love how it’s within walking distance of so many things. Would definitely recommend to others.

The room was nice clean and very comfortable. Easy walking to the ballpark for baseball game.

Nice hotel stay with friendly staff. Beds were comfortable and I loved the pillows! Enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the hotel No problems. A bit pricey for a single night stay. The parking garage could use more signage to get to the check in location.

Good

Great location for our visit to Akron Civic Theatre. The hotel was a beautifully restored building with some great original features remaining, large rooms, great staff and facilities. Lots of bars and places to eat nearby. Nothing we didn't like.

The old marble hallways and beautiful trim with glass window doors were gorgeous. The room was great with robust A/C.

everything was clean and nice. only 1 elevator was functioning... so patience is required

Picked this hotel because it was close to the Civic Center and was so pleased. The property is well maintained, parking is convenient and free, The desk employees were pleasant and helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and our waiter was friendly and attentive. The room was lovely, The coffee bar was greatly appreciated in the morning. Even the thoughtful touch of the complimentary flavored water in the lobby was welcomed. I'm looking forward to having a reason to return soon. And I just got an email letting me know housekeeping found a sweater I left in my room and they are assisting me in getting it back to me. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend this property.

The first room I got had hair in the bed, then the 2nd room they gave me had hair in the bed and smelled bad, then the 3rd room was acceptable. I did not realize until I was there that it was a Marriott property. I would not recommend nor stay there again.

The size of the room. The shower in the double room had kindof a gross shower floor.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Well apponited and a very helpful and friendly staff. Parking was great. Although it is in the center, the hotel has parking spots reserved in a public parking garage with easy access behind the hotel
