Courtyard Akron Downtown

The hotel was nice. The room was big. The front desk staff didn't seem to want to be at work. Neither one that I encountered that weekend looked up from their computer when I walked in, or greeted me. My remote didn't work and the housekeeping lady found a replacement right away and was cheerful.

Perfect place to stay after a very long drive. Easy to park, in a quiet part of town, plenty of places nearby to eat. Clean, comfortable and friendly.

There is nobody at the desk when I got there around 7 PM. There was a button to press. The Best person then came out for a room in the back. Apparently they sit there waiting for customers. Not what I expected! When she came out, she was not at all friendly and somewhat officious. The room is fine but this morning when I went to shower, there was no soap in the dispenser. When I left at around 7 AM another person was sitting at the reception area on her cell phone. I stood there for a few seconds waiting for her to finish whatever she was doing on her phone. I indicated that there was no soap in the shower area. She then yelled across the room to another employee that there was no soap. The other person apologize and I left. Soap is not a big issue but something that should not be an issue at all! What one experiences at check-in as well as checkout our key to satisfaction. I will never go back there again.

Our bed was never made room never cleaned. Had to ask for clean towels. It was a 3 night stay. Baggage cart was pathetic. Wheels didn't work. Not good.

The location was very close to the OTET bike route Rude staff. Bed was too soft.

Great hotel for a reasonable price considering how expensive everything is now. Great staff and location. If you stay here you must get pizza at Luigis that is a 1 minute walk.

The wifi, so bad, my son and I tried to just watch a movie on Netflix and had to restart it every couple of mins The price was crazy expensive...especially w bad parking. Food price was outrageous. There was a giant trash bag of trash sitting my ice machine for over 20hrs. On the 6th floor A pile of dirty laundry just left by the elevators for at least 16 hrs Advertises movie theater...no movies being played. .

Clean room and staff at breakfast were great. The two ladies were very polite and professional.

Great rooms

I went to the SPEAKEASY bar attached to the property at 11:50pm only to find out it was "last call" and they closed at midnight, on a Saturday! I wish I had known that as that was the catalyst for spending over 200.00 for a one night stay in Akron. Also, when taking a shower, the hot water pipes were shaking so bad and making a shrill sound, like the pipes were going to burst behind the tile, I had to cut my shower short as it was at 7:00am on a Sunday morning and thought I would wake up the guests next to me. Not up to Hilton standards in my opinion. It will take a lot to have me stay there again!

Room was nice and front desk staff was helpful Could have used breakfast. If there was, we were not told about it.

This is a modern clean hotel with a great staff. The Bistro room is pleasant. There are several restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are small. The “store” items are very expensive. Water was $4-$6. The Bistro breakfast averaged $25.

Great stay here! Bistro was a nice option. Helpful staff. Clean.

I wish they had complimentary breakfast and coffee available during the day in the lobby.
