Almost every surface we touched was either sticky, darkened by built-up dirt, rusted, or showing mold. This is not simply an older hotel showing its age, it is a serious cleanliness and maintenance problem. If there were a police department for hotel cleanliness, this property would be serving three consecutive life sentences. For perspective, I left my dog at a kennel for the weekend. I inspected those facilities beforehand, and compared with this hotel, that kennel deserves five stars and a concierge. The final straw was finding a cockroach in the bed. Yes, in the bed. I have video evidence. We packed our things and left immediately. I cannot understand how this property has a rating above 7 on Expedia. Based on cleanliness alone, I would rate it below 3. If hygiene matters to you, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Also disappointing that Expedia told us the hotel itself would decide whether we receive a refund. Expedia should stand behind the standards and reviews presented on its platform when a property is in this condition. I second the comment of another guest review that recommends that this place should be demolished.

First and worst: ROACHES. All sizes, everywhere, including the bed. After driving 6 hours, I was exhausted and still only managed to sleep about 1½ hours the first night. We were here for Parents Weekend and hotels were sold out, so simply moving somewhere else wasn’t an option. The room was also filthy. Dirty towels, dirty bathtub, and even the complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner containers were left empty and disgusting. After the first night, I gave up and slept on an air mattress at my daughter’s apartment. My husband couldn’t stay there because she lives in an all-girls apartment with roommates, and we didn’t feel it was appropriate or respectful to have an adult man staying there for 3 nights. So he endured this hotel for 3 nights. By the last night, he gave up too and SLEPT IN THE CAR. A paying guest chose his car over the hotel room he paid for. That says everything. I don’t expect luxury from a basic hotel, but there is a difference between basic and unsanitary. Whoever manages this property should be ashamed to offer rooms in this condition. I wouldn’t stay here again even for free.

The staff was incredibly friendly. Very ideal location, as well. The cleanliness wasn't the greatest. Very high priced room for the quality. They said they served breakfast, but it was more of just waffles...which wasn't exactly as expected in comparison with other hotels and their breakfast options.

The staff has been wondeful. Especially Shely, she has been super helpful and thoughtful.

The shampoo and conditioner in the shower were both empty. There was an open, used bar of soap from a previous guest. There was a tiny shampoo by the vanity which was filled with something that resembled water. Interior of the fridge was moldy. Beds were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept in. Like a springboard.

The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which I really appreciated during my stay. Unfortunately, the room itself could use some improvements. There was a strange smell when I first entered, the air conditioning wasn’t working properly, and the bed felt old and uncomfortable. The hotel definitely has room for improvement, especially when it comes to the overall condition and comfort of the rooms. Considering the price, I honestly feel that it is too expensive for what is currently being offered. With some improvements, the hotel could provide a much better experience and better value for the money.

Property is very old and need maintance this is more a MOTEL than a hotel for $150 the night I expected at least a clean place or well maintained!

Pobre breakfast 👎

Upon check-in I asked to use the lobby washroom and was informed it was broken and unusable. We were not informed the pool was closed until we arrived at the pool and the gate was locked. There was no signage stating it was closed. When we asked at the front desk we were informed they were forced to close it due to an infraction from a loose railing and it would not be available. The only "hot breakfast" option was waffles with a huge line. We were informed the warmers were down so they couldn't keep eggs hot. The floor in the room was dirty. And we did not walk around without our shoes. The toilet paper roll was rusty in the room and the who room was generally grungy and poorly repaired with mismatched paint patches.
