Fairfield Inn & Suites Amarillo Airport

Staff is very friendly, engaging, and helpful (speedily so). Nice lobby. Room is a good size, has a large working desk, and all the usual room amenities. Everything very clean throughout the room and hotel. First day’s breakfast was fantastic: great fruit mix, eggs, biscuits, sausage, waffle maker, oatmeal with lots of mix-ins, yogurt varieties, bagels and breads, and I think I’m missing a few items. We were there at 6:30 so everything fully stocked. Second day we went later, a little more than a hour before it closed, and it was unfortunately pretty sparse. I got the last of the fruit (just a few pieces of honeydew), and pretty much everything else across the board was either gone or down to 2 to 4 servings which quickly disappeared. A few were replaced but not for about 45 minutes. So the selection was good again, but there were a lot of disappointed people in the last hour looking for something to eat besides waffles or oatmeal (and even the waffle people had to wait a while for replacement). Outside of that snag, would definitely stay again for the cleanliness, convenience to airport, room offerings, and the excellent, friendly, and immediately responsive staff

Nice location to my job site

Bed was full of hair. Carpet was filthy, whole place smelled horrible, no air in the hallways.

The room smelled musty with water seeping into the carpet below the A/C unit. Carpers torn by the door and both carpet and bathroom tiles felt sticky! Very unpleasant.

The locatipn is excellent (across the highway from Buc-ee's!) They room was clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The pet fee is steep.

The breakfast was fair. The locationvwas very close to the airport, so I didnt have to drive far at night. The road construction near the hotel was an inconvenience.I

Everything was perfect.

Everything was excellent with one exception. The shower in the morning was impossible to regulate. It was either scalding or icy. Since my husband took as shower in the evening and did not have that problem I can only assume the morning volume is too high for the system to handle.

The staff was as helpful as they could be. 1st our room didn’t have a trash can. 2nd the fold out couch mattress had springs sticking out of the mattress. 3rd the hot water for the shower only got to warm and the control handle is wrong. When put to hot the water is cold and when put to put it’s cold. The middle was warm. 4th Bathroom door would not shut and lock. 5th the hot tub is out of order. 6th the pool water was cold even though it’s indoor. Overall for $180/night this is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in years.

Very clean and nice

The breakfasts were amazing. Staff was excellent. Maintenance staff friendly and knowledgeable. A+!

The location was excellent. Check in was very efficient. No fan in the bathroom. Dirt on the floor. Super hot in the room when we arrived.

The heater in the room woke me up at 3 am when it started. It made all kinds of racket. Fix the heater ! How do you expect people to sleep.

Staff was amazing the hotel is very clean no complaints at all
