The Cactus Cove Inn And Suites

The size of the suite was fantastic. The expansive bottom floor of the lobby is extremely family friendly. While the suite was very roomy, the AC from the bedroom did not reach the living area (no separate AC) which made enjoying that area a challenge.

The ladies at the front desk were excellent! They were able to assist with anything that we need and made sure that we were comfortable and taken care of. We were traveling with a group of 20 kids for youth camp and they thoroughly enjoyed staying there! With that being said, we enjoyed our stay and it was very welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and so fresh! We were a little underwhelmed with the room as they did not reflect what was posted on the website. The pool was super cloudy and heavily chlorinated which was a huge letdown. Some of the added amenities such as the karaoke and the game room tv were not functional so that was a bit of a disappointment.

Like a great property for kids, however it was extremely dirty. The staff was unhelpful. Our room was gross.

The pool opens too early. I was awakened by yelling children. There is only one working elevator. In a hotel this big and spread out, there should be at least 2. Only 2 staircases. And only one way outside unless you want to set off alarms. For $180/night, I shouldn't have to hike just to get to my car.

really pretty inside nice decor nice restaurant/bar facilities were either closed or just kinda ass like the “golf course” was just a small circle that people kept walking through and the little pillows they used for cornhole didn’t even fit in the holes, the game room looked run down.. the “free breakfast” is just coffee and waffles the actual breakfast like eggs and sausage and stuff you have to pay for

When we walked up to our room, there was a drunk woman and a man sitting directly outside our door. They were loud, disruptive, and refused to move. The room doors barely closed properly, which only added to the feeling of insecurity. I was genuinely concerned for my family’s safety throughout our stay. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I would not recommend this property to anyone traveling with family.

Being a local and what this place used to be they have absolutely done amazing job of turning it around.

The indoor activities for the little ones was nice to have especially after a full day of driving. The lady who served breakfast was very nice and was working her tail off by herself serving and cleaning the area. The beds were very hard and the room AC didn’t work well as the room was too warm and stuffy. The front of the hotel appeared nice but once you drove around to park you realized it was not kept up and appeared to be quite sketchy.

Key code to get in your door and online check in convenient - but they never actually texted me the code in advance I still had to wait at the front desk. They have great hype on social media and in theory it would be great but nothing worked. Will not recommend. The indoor pool makes the whole place feel like a swamp. Kids playground was closed during the posted open hours to the point we never got to try it before having to leave (this was the point of staying here) they said it was “drying”… the slide in the lobby violently shoots kids out and knocks them around inside both of ours came out crying. The room looks like you just painted over everything without fixing anything. Giant wardrobe unsecured it moved and leaned every time we opened it. The plumbing in the bathroom pulled out of the wall when you used it. Double beds are tiny idk why a hotel wouldn’t do queens there is room.

It has a unique atmosphere. Lovely room. Bed was comfortable. The elevator closest to our room was not working.

It had the potential to be a cool kitchy place. Wonder what it will be like in 6 months!

Room smell like cigarettes and was unbearable to sleep in

The bed was comfortable. Water was hot. The entire place stunk. Loose carpet tripped me in the hallway.

Broken tiles in the loft need replacing The extractor fan in room 601 bathroom looked like it could come off the ceiling at any point.

Good location near the main road, the hotel is fine for one night if you're passing through, well connected and the staff are friendly. It's difficult to find and there's no sign from the road indicating its location.
