The Cactus Cove Inn And Suites

Really cool place, lots to do.

Awesome stay. Lots to do. Got to play that pickleball next time we stay. Breakfast was great with waffles and eggs.

The beds were more firm than I prefer. The pillows were nice. Breakfast was basic but good. They stayed on top of keeping the breakfast stocked. The pool was nice and the hot tub was even better. I used the gym and it was warm in there but the equipment was in good shape. Would stay here again.

This was probably the best place we have ever stayed. It was so unique very much one of a kind. The best thing about this stay was they have a lot for children. I would travel back to Texas just to stay here again. 10/10

We arrived later than expected and the young lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. The activity area closes at 8 , just before we for there and we were leaving before it opened up the next morning which made the kids really upset as it was a complete surprise anyway. The lady at the desk ended up letting them play on the mini golf course for a few minutes as long as they were quiet. The kids ran around putting the balls for 10 minutes and we're in heaven. The overall stay was nice and the staff are very friendly. As far as negatives the cleaning solution they use in the rooms is ridiculously strong, to the point we left the door open to allow the room to air out. I agree with other reviews about the whole place being outdated and needing a face-lift. The breakfast isn't overly anything to speak about. If you don't like pepper you'll have cereal, biscuits, yogurt and coffee and juice; and a few other things. I would not recommend the first floor rooms because the noise of people walking by is excessive even though it's really no one's fault. The walls are very thin... I'm sorry to say I probably won't stay there again the next time we go through Amarillo.

The selling point is the pool and all things fun for the kids.

Always a clean, comfy place. Restaurant is great. Convenient for work travel.

I stay here ever time I’m in Amarillo. I love how kid friendly the hotel is. Play houses, jumper houses, swings, mini golf, movie and popcorn, fishing, water fall, sliding tunnels, arcade, little shop, baked cookies, restaurant, karaoke, swimming, it’s so much fun for adults and kids. The staff is extremely friendly. Thank you for all the amenities your hotel offers. We don’t have to leave the hotel. We have everything there.

The continental breakfast was, honestly, the best one I've had at a hotel. Flavorful, real eggs, real sausage patties, and a variety of waffle flavors you can make on your own. The lady who prepared the breakfast was there and was welcoming and attentive. Be sure to leave a tip when you eat there! This is an older hotel that is well-maintained. The rooms are clean, the beds are cozy, the blankets are WARM, and they doors to the rooms have blinds that you can open or close to see what's going on in the courtyard area. I loved it! We travel to CO regularly to visit our son and always stay in Amarillo. This is our new place from now on!

Pool was nice and warm

Not what I expected at all dated and dirty

Activities looked neat but didn’t stay due to property conditions “Remodeled “ room was poorly done , not quality, and honestly the photos online looked photoshopped compared to what the property condition actually was inside the hotel room , I feel as if I was “catfished” and really disappointed

Accommodations were average. I didn't like that even though I prepaid through hotels.com, the hotel charged my credit card and kept the charge for a week before refunding. I understand the need for a security deposit but any issues should be identified within a day. There could be someone else coming in behind me that did damage that I could be liable for. Not a fan of this practice.

Exceptional

The staff were friendly and bar had excellent food and service. The only thing was the rooms air conditioner was very loud.

Clean, comfortable room. Breakfast was good. Restaurant/bar next door was nice and convenient. Would be great for families. Lots of things for kids to do.

Superb

Clean and comfortable

The atmosphere here was awesome. The staff were amazing, the breakfast was delicious. My biggest problem was the rooms were severely outdated and needed lots of work.

I wouldn’t stay here again. they put us in a room above the bar and music was blaring until at least 2 am even though the bar closed at 12. we ended up having to move rooms at 2am. also smells terrible in there.
