Sleep Inn & Suites Ames near ISU Campus

Property was good. Everything was as expected except the ac unit in our room was leaking, leaving the carpet around it wet.

Clean, sound proof and new carpet. Nice breakfast!

My stay turned out to be ok after my room was changed but it didn’t start out well. I was initially given a room that was being renovated (much of the hotel was being upgraded with new carpet.) It was a bit dirty, noisy and dusty and I wouldn’t have chosen the property had I known ahead of time that renovations would be taking place. In the evenings it was quiet, so I was able to sleep comfortably. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. Overall a pretty basic place to stay and will be improved after renovations are finished.

Wonderful place to stay. Lots of area for playing games and hanging out in the lobby. Breakfast was excellent as well. Staff were super friendly.

Bridget and Nancy were amazing hosts. They made sure we were able to check in and get settled without any problems. At the end of our check in, we felt like friends and family. Enjoyed our stay here very much.

I do believe the price was double what they should have been. With the concert happening, it should not have prices as high as yhey were for just 1 night

Our TV quit working several times. The front desk was quite responsive; it just happened to often. Enjoyed the room. Some of the hotel was being remodeled with new carpeting, so that was interesting. I would stay here again based upon my experience.

Need some air fresheners or something to eliminate or reduce the sweat smell from the exercise area. You can smell it just walking down the hall when no one is in the exercise room.

Close to ISU. Perfect for our freshmen orientation trip.

Breakfast was underwhelming and cleared out by the time we got down at 7:15. Staff was nice. Room was clean, would stay again and not use the Expedia app. I was stuck with a handicap room and had to quickly take a minute shower because anything longer would’ve flooded the entire bathroom. Not happy about that especially since I made this reservation well in advance.
