Definitely remember to always book as many restaurant reservations in advance as you can.

Very busy on grounds all of the time, wait staff at restaurant would rather leave us waiting on bench in the corridor then sit us in the nearly empty restaurant while they chat with themselves. We had to wait for text to tell us the table we were staring at was empty. Wasn't thrilled with the experience especially for the high prices.

The Grand California is an exceptional property to stay at. Rooms are great and staff is excellent. The only issue is we loved getting into the park early and missed is greatly this year. Thanks for the great trip! We are planning to book next year too!

They replaced our luggage when it was broken by their valet.

The service and friendliness of staff was wonderful. Location location location - makes the whole experience worth it. Fairly spacious rooms and everything was clean. Higher end of price but it’s justified.

The front desk were very professional and helpful! The kitchen staff and food delivery personnel were awesome! The valets and housekeepers were diligent and delightful! The staff at the Tenaya Stone Spa were Amazing and so Thoughtful to my needs!!

We just got back from 5 days at GCH. We would technically give this hotel 4.5 stars, but since I can't give halves on this site, I am giving 5 since I feel 4 is too low for how happy this place made my family of 4, including my husband, myself, my 8 yo, and my happily neurodivergent 6 yo. We arrived on Sunday for brunch at Storyteller's. It was wonderful. As others have commented, it should not be a Mickey brunch, when Chip and Dale are really the stars (however, Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto were wonderful to us, it's just the chipmunks are fantastic and hilarious performers and it's amazing how much they can communicate without talking). I also want to recognize our wonderful server Aide. Right after brunch, while waiting for our room, we went to the pool party with Woody, Jessie, and Bo Beep, which was adorable. Unfortunately, the water slide was not working that day, so that was kind of a bummer. My family loved the spacious hotel room, but a small dining table with 2 chairs would have been most appreciated for all the delicious food we took to go from Craftsman Grill. Cindy was responsible for cleaning our room and was a sweetheart. Craftsman Grill was a hit with the whole family; we loved everything we ordered and we ordered multiple times a day as we preferred it to the parks' food. As everyone says, the location is amazing. We loved spending afternoons resting at the hotel and using the pool during our park days. We haven't even been home 24 h and are planning our return!

Property is a great stay and convenient to access both parks.

I LOVED staying at the Disney Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The service was above and beyond, the staff was friendly, in a way that felt genuine, and the magic of the hotel is real! The best part of staying at the hotel was the ability to walk right into the park from the hotel! We will definitely be staying here again!

Easy peasy

Check-in was scheduled for 3pm. Our room was not ready til 4:30pm. This was unacceptable considering what we paid for the suite.

We have stayed more times than we can count at a Disney property. Almost always it’s Disneyland hotel but we stayed at Disneyland grand Californian hotel three times now and every time we stay here we say we don’t wanna stay here again. It’s overpriced rundown the staff is not helpful. The rooms are tiny. It’s not Disney themed whatsoever and we just spent far more than we wanted to pay for that kind of room.

Valet parking $ 75.00 a day. Plus $12.75 tax on Valet parking. What a ripoff!!

The dinner at Napa Rose that is amazing. They are definitely going to that Michelin star. Set menu as well with the price.

Very good service, clean and we enjoyed so much the pool. The spa was amazing.

The room was paid in full .and didn't tell my they were going to charge my card $250 for deposit.

Great rooms and top flight service. The restaurants are all excellent and the lobby is gorgeous. The only critigue is the pool area. There are 3 pools but they are small, not very luxe and seem a bit dated. The lounges are not plentiful and they are packed super close together. With a major upgrade to this area every aspect of this property would be truly outstanding. Staying on property at Disneyland makes the stay so convenient and comfortable, well worth the price.
