Excellent place to stay after a long drive. Located a stone's throw south of Redding, it is an easily recommended place to sleep just off the interstate. The accommodations were refreshing and memorable.

They stay was great. Staff was nice and pleasant.

A clean facility with friendly professional staff. Will stay here again.

We rented the suite with the jacuzzi tub in the room. The size of the room was good. There were some finishing that needed attention. One of the jets in the tub needs a cover. The jets were very weak. There were ants on the jet tub. There wasn’t a table or desk in the room that we could sit at to eat in be on a laptop. There wasn’t great pressure to the shower and the shower was so slick I was afraid to use conditioner in my hair. We used the indoor pool and hot tub and they were both nice. It wasn’t busy when we used it so that was nice. The pool is pretty large. The location of the hotel was very convenient. We did not see an elevator to the second floor, which isn’t that big of a deal until you are trying to haul all your stuff to or from a car. Would stay in the hotel again but probably will not spring for the expense of the room with the hot tub.

Parking and Staff

That said, the place felt rundown and in need of updating. My room had wallpaper peeling and there was a hole in the wall. The furniture also looked old and was torn, which made the room feel neglected rather than simply “dated.” My biggest disappointment was breakfast. It was very lackluster—bread, a few mini muffins, and old cereal. It didn’t feel fresh or plentiful, and it made the morning experience pretty disappointing. I could hear other guests looking around at the setup and commenting on how limited it felt. Overall, I’d recommend considering whether the location is worth the tradeoff for room condition and breakfast quality, and hopefully the property will improve these areas. For the price we paid, it did not meet the standards.

Our furniture in our room was scratched up by animals really bad we had no shampoo in the shower. The staff was not very friendly. The breakfast was absolutely horrendous almost nonexistent if you’re in a piece of bread and an apple then that’s your place would probably never come here again.

The staff was awesome and you get what you pay for! Room was alright but the carpeting especially up the stairs and hallways need to be replaced. The breakfast was all starch with no protein or fruit. We enjoyed the pool and spa!

Front desk was courteous and friendly. Room was clean but very small. Bathroom sink is basically in the room. Separate cubicle for shower and toilet which is cramped. Not practical for family of four. One of the beds had broken springs and there was a big dent in the mattress which was very uncomfortable. Steam from shower makes room very stuffy. It was 105 degrees that day and the air conditioner was not cooling the room. We were told there was a complimentary breakfast from 6am till 9 am. We got there at 6:45 and there was nothing left but cereal and a few mini muffins. Very disappointing. There was a nice indoor pool. We would have liked a restful night sleep but it was impossible with the broken springs in the mattress. We Informed the front desk when we checked out that the room needed attention. We won't stay here next trip

Our hotel stay was great the pool was awesome however if you plan to have breakfast make sure you get there early we got there at 7:00 for breakfast and most of the food was gone.

Although it was a Marriot hotel it did not reflect the standard one would look for in one. It was very old, smelly and our sheets were worn through almost completely.

beds are clean, room is out dated, carpet is dirty, parking lot is well lite, and good, quite, was good for a couple of night sleep
