It was great, we were traveling to the Bay Area from Oregon. We got slowed down by the smoke in the mountains. So we stopped in Anderson and got a good rest.
-
First when we got there and walked in to check in it took awhile for the man to come out,and my husband has a heart condition so I was trying to get him inside so he could rest.next morning went over to have breakfast that the advertise door was locked with a sign to call man says rudely no breakfast next couple days I told you.No you did not tell us that so we pack up go to check out and he says just leave the key I said I'm. Not in the room he tells me just leave it on the ground outside the office no receipt or anything to prove we checked out the man is very rude we will not stay here again.

There no breakfast as described on the web site. Room does not have coffee or tea. Otherwise, it was a nice place, clean and quiet.

There was no one at the front desk; I had to call a number. They gave me a room that wasn't clean; then they gave me another one that wasn't clean. The phone didn't work and it took a long time for the room to cool down. However, I did have a good night's sleep.

Lots of shops nearby, AC worked, clean beds, good price. Could not connect to wifi, no breakfast even though free breakfast was advertised, remote control for TV did not work, my kids feet were black from walking on the floor. Please mop the floor.

At check out, I told him I couldn't find the wifi network, he said it should be Anderson Inn. I asked him the hotel's name, he said it will be Quality inn.

The newly renovated property was good. Hand made breakfast was cherry on top!

Check-in was fine. The room was spacious. The refrigerator barely worked, which I discovered this morning. The bathroom could not possibly have been cleaned. This was a first--there was fecal matter on the toilet seat and urine stains on the seat and the toilet. Gross! Then there was the hair--dark hair on the toilet lid, the rim of the bathtub, inside the tub, and what looked like a pubic hair on the tub enclosure. (I have light blonde hair, so it's not mine!) They state on their site that they offer a breakfast buffet. That is false. Although, at check-in you can clearly see tables set-up for the buffet, the door was locked and no one was inside. Very disappointing!

We had an upstairs room and it was very quiet, except for the AC. We would definitely stay here again.

THIS HOTEL IS CLOSED, ACCEPTED MY RESERVATION AND MONEY AND REFUSED TO RETURN MY MONEY DESPITE NOT EVEN BEING OPERATIONAL.

We rented a room for the night while traveling from California. Didn’t know it was their opening day too. Neil was accommodating. Told us it’s their first night and told us tv is not working yet. Gave us the right expectations. The room is big, clean. Breakfast was really fantastic. It felt just being home. There were some small missing things but I am sure it will get better once they are fully operational. Thank you for a nice stay!

Room was nicely renovated but when I went into the breakfast there was no coffee and the clerk/ attendant was no where to be found. The phones were also not working to call when I needed a late check in.
-
Breakfast was fresh cooked eggs. Room is always clean. Bed is very comfortable! Great value!

Everything went smooth. The room was decent.

While you can tell the property is trying to update and improve, it leaves a lot to be desired, here was my experience. I booked this stay for a soccer tournament for my son thinking we could stay close and hop in the pool after a long day in the sun... After the first day of games, hot and tired, GPS leads us into a mostly abandoned, depressed shopping center in downtown Anderson, CA... Thinking this was GPS mistake I almost turned around until I realized there was, in fact a hotel there to, a gray desolate building marked only with a blank, black sign... Even my 10 year old was a bit nervous. Check in went strangely as there was no one at the desk, and I was instructed by a handmade sign on the counter to call a cell phone for service. I called twice before a woman answered and appeared shortly after for check in. She was efficient but not friendly or very helpful besides to check in. When we got to the room it was clean, I was relieved but as my son soon discovered the TV worked but had no working channels and there was no paper or sign with wifi login info. I walked back to the front were there were now 3 surley women to told me "no wifi, cable's out" and didn't seem to want to offer me much more explanation. Annoyed, but not dismayed, I returned to the room to get in the pool with my son, when we found it (there were zero signs) we found it was dirty and turned right around. I cancelled my reservation (with a lot of trouble as it was impossible to find employees).
