Gaia Hotel & Spa Redding, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Stayed on a whim during a road trip. Liked it enough to stay here again in the way back. Great place to stay with a family or alone. Restaurant was not young-kid friendly but was good for our family with older kids. Pool was great. Fitness center was perfect. Felt peaceful and quaint. Room for small kids to roam and explore.

The stsy was beyond words the staff was a delight and the property was wonderful thy even had pond where you can buy fish food to fee he fish and they even had a fire pit where you can buy a smore kit. Our stay was wonderful even the breakfast with 20% off voucher it was amazing

The room was very nice and clean. The all the amenities worked great. We got a room next to the small water feature on the first floor which was nice to gout out and sit on. It was definitely worth the upgrade. The pool temperature was great the kids loved it. Definitely one of my favorite places I have stayed in a long time for a great price.

The property in general unique, though we didn’t spend much time using the amenities. The check-in and checkout was smooth. The only downside was that the room was dirty. Since we arrived late and were staying just for the night we didn’t bother.

The landscaping is in progress or I would have given all 5 stars. We had a ground level room with it's own little landing outside a sliding door. Would suggest that they not use the larger landscape rocks all the way to the parking lot but instead give each patio a small walkway so we could roll our suitcases in from the car and have easier access. Also with the dog areas, our dogs are small and could break a leg on the bigger rocks if they don't have at least a small gravel path. The pool was small but refreshing and not at all crowded in the morning, and the on site restaurant was great for both dinner and breakfast (20% 0ff coupon was provided for breakfast). They even let us eat outside on the restaurant patio with our dogs and served them paper cups of water! It is a perfect stop for us between Seattle and LA and we will certainly book with Gaia again next time we make the trip.

Tiny and overcrowded and hardly any chairs around it annd no towels to be found for pool. Also the cable in our room continually glitched so we couldn’t watch tv. We waited over 20 min to check in due to being short staffed. Overall pretty disappointing stay and this hotel that We’ve stayed at many times before has Gone downhill.

Does not seem to have had very much indoor upkeep over the years. Holes in walls, stains everywhere. Grounds are very nice, as is restaurant.

Clean, huge room with a fridge and tv that didn’t work properly, hence the 4 stars. We were too tired to care and only stayed one night. Everything else was fine and the restaurant had good food too.

Delightful stay. Rooms are very nice with luxury bedding. Front Desk professional.

I always enjoy my stay at Gaia Redding. It is convenient, quiet with excellent staff.

Room was spacious, even had a small walk-in closet. Nice amenities, and a restaurant right on property.

One of the best hotel showers we’ve ever used and the bed sheets must’ve been made from angels wings, they were so soft- we had a terrific nights sleep. Shower water pressure was fantastic and the nozzle head easily adjusted. The room was very spacious and easy to access from the parking area. The check in staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel grounds were beautiful and a nice place to walk around.

Honestly, this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in the rooms are Crystal clean the pool is so perfect and write on specially for Hot days. And the staff is so cool and chill and they get everything done in a second. They’re very patient. Very kind. There’s lots of parking. It goes down to the River. I recommend a massage at the Day Spa. They have there at the hotel.. I recommend a hotel. The highest I could recommend a hotel honestly. And I’ve been really Beautiful places this one Tops em all

They are obviously in the middle of a remodel and it’s going to look amazing! We end up in this neck of the woods due to kids in college and will definitely stay here again. Can’t wait to see the progress next time we’re in the area.

Clean room, beautiful grounds, and very convenient to have a restaurant on the property.

It didn’t seem as if the pool towels were replenished on a daily basis. I wanted to use the pool my second day I was there and they still hadn’t replenished them from the day before. Otherwise, the stay there was great!
