Room smelled of mold and had a standing air filter system running 24/7. The room we stayed in had loud mechanical noises at night and we did not sleep well.

I liked the archaeological displays and the historically preserved property. The room was very comfortable. Some of the front desk staff were not very friendly. Some of the parking attendants were often seen glued to their cell phones rather than offering assistance. The valet online service was inconvenient and too expensive. I wanted to leave an online gratuity but did not like the convenience fee charged!

The staff was very kind and helpful, and the hotel's location was ideal for enjoying the historical downtown area and waterfront. We truly appreciated the hotel's historical character.

We come in every year for the Annapolis10 mile race and have stayed here for the past two years. It's a wonderful hotel that's located in such a convenient place in Annapolis. You can walk everywhere, and are a little out of the mainstream so it's not too crazy. The room we had this year was very large. The beds are comfortable and everything is clean. We will stay here again next year.

Very good

This was the worst day I’ve ever had at a facility. It was advertised as two beds, and there was one bed and they had no rollaway or anything, and there was my husband myself and my daughter. They were so unhelpful and rude. The worst day I’ve ever had anywhere

The locations is excellent. Disappointing that when walking around room in socks, it was clear the carpeting was dirty. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

I really wanted to love this place, but alas there were problems. First of all, the financial: Valet parking required our prepaying. We used our car on our last evening and self-parked after being assured by the attendant we would be reimbursed for that night. When we checked out, another attendant as well as the front desk staff assured us we'd be reimbursed, but so far nothing has shown up on our credit card statement. As to our accommodations, our room appeared beautiful, but as we settled in we started noticing things indicating a lack of care - like untreated mildew in the bathtub's caulking, and dead wasps in two of the three windowsills. At first I loved the feel of the mattress, but it was very deep, too deep for the pockets of the mattress pad, which was topped with simply a flat sheet which wasn't even large enough to tuck in. All through the night the mattress pad creeped up and started bunch up itself and the sheet under my shoulders. I'd try tucking it back in but it couldn't hold. It was a long night. The next day there was no sign of housekeeping, so I remade the bed myself trying to use the sheets as leverage. That got it to only about a 30% improvement. No one came to our room that day at all, and on the next day, somebody showed up with towels while we were napping in the afternoon. The location was great, the room was quiet and well-designed - it should have been a home run, but struck out instead.

Love it there. Only place we stay when visiting Annapolis.

I like the Maryland House. Great porch. Excellent location.

Loved the location and had two full beds that were very comfortable. I prepaid and then got a charge from hotel for $34. Parking was $40 to valet, plus tip. When I called to ask about the charge, I was told it was a historical fee that I was not aware was going to be charged. It was not a big deal. I would have just liked to know ahead of time of the extra fee. Love Annapolis and the Historic Inns.

Great location and close to shops and restaurants. Very quiet/comfortable room with all the amenities and coffee available in the morning. Would definitely stay here again!

parking is not easy there but the city is wonderful
-
The locations were confusing but the property we stayed at was decorated gorgeous.

The front door to this hotel made a loud crashing sound when residents came in and out all night long. I wasn’t able to sleep at all. Staff couldn’t solve the problem and it cost me a sleepless night.

All of the history surrounding the hotel. Not having a microwave
